I think this was one of the biggest moral boosts that BW could have seen. It was because of this series that i didn't lose all my faith in BW. seriously, do you think a majority of BW fans would have stayed and continued fighting for this game had lets say fanta won in 3-0 and jangbi didn't even pull up a fight? No. Every single one of these games were pure brilliance (except maybe game 2).

The incoming season has ALL potential to be one of the best seasons skill-wise in modern BW, when Flash returns after surgury, Jaedong fixes his zvz, Bisu dont die in preliminaries and will probably rock PL, Jangbi holds his current shape, Stork quits cellphone games(;D) the list goes on: Fantasy, Hydra, Killer, BaBy ...

Yes there are some bad things happening, but i think over-all the best stays: players. New sponsons will invigorate teams and players. Rumours of dream-team as replacement of OZ/Fox/mbc(?) seem to be just a lesser evil but in reality it could improve general skill alocation in teams.

After this finals there is no possibilites that BW can die, sponsors realized that, and we realized. Its beautiful.

To me one of the sickest moment of that entire series with jangbi vs fantasy was when the commentators announced just before the final gg how the wind was blowing once more, and in alignment with the legend of the fall, it's as if God really was pushing Jangbi to win.

I don't know, just a small little thing that gave me so much nerd chills and tears

No player captured the hearts and minds of players quite like soO did in his inspirational Royal Road run. Given his consistently awe-inspiring play, it’s not hard to understand how he became everyone's underdog favorite. soO quickly became a hero for Zerg and SKT fans alike, two fan bases tragically deprived of top players to rally around these days.

lolololol as if any real zerg fans were actually rooting for soO over killer. what a joke.

Thank fucking god for Kwark bringing a bit of sense back to TL. I'm just not really sure about your analysis of game 3, and you might be a bit too nice with Fanta in game 5, and not enough with Jangbi (but to think some people thought of it as the best game 5 ever... one will need a few more restrictions to make that work).
And I'm also not that sure as Flash being the best player of the tournament, as his last 2 games were unimpressive. I'm not exactly sure about what he showed before though, so you might be right. And I'm not considering his injury...
The soO joke was excellent too, and the overall write-up very good. Pretty incredible even. Cheers !

Jangbi's entire journey through the OSL is a story for the ages.

Even beginning at the preliminaries, he was facing certain elimination going 0-2 against soo; only to have to fight through both Zero and Leta (and classic) to win a wildcard spot. He did breeze through ODT, but was again facing elimination in the Ro16, and again had to go a tie breaker, coming out victorious over Baby and Calm.

His fight was not yet over, after drawing Flash of all people in the next bracket.
And even at the semis, he had to face the one player who nearly eliminated him out of the tournament many months ago, soo.

And then the finals ... going carriers versus terran, and not even a storm was cast that day.

It just leaves you in awe.
