Anyway, I've decided that this time I will have to run for Mayor. I would have wanted it last time, but then there was no such role available. I figure this is the only way I can not just make an analysis Day1 and die the following night, but actually contribute something.

First off, I am - also - somewhat suspicious of Plexa's platform there. The reasons should be obvious and mentioned already, so many times (Him specifically going for Pardoner, and also those compromising PMs). I also have to say that both Ver's and MTF's plans look solid, but I'd add certain changes.

First off, things shouldn't be rushed once the Mayor is elected. There is obviously a need in checking the Mayor, since if the Mayor or the Pardoner turn up blue, the Town will be 100% sure of them being on our side. I'm really hoping that the Veterans, Vigilantes, whatever are trying to get into office this way. There is of course the problem of the Traitor, but since it's only 2/38, it's a rather safe bet. Besides, the role would still be revealed to a DT, so it doesn't really matter if the other person (M or P) are a legitimate blue.

Another important point, and also why things shouldn't be rushed, is that the information doesn't come at once, so potentially wasting a BG for a 1 day worth of role-checks, and 1-2 vote-checks won't really be useful. Instead, the selected BG should only come out later, in case if neither Mayor nor Pardoner turned out blue, and ONLY THEN the proposed BG plan should be set in action. I'm still hoping for a blue here, that would obviously be the best bet.

In case that there isn't a blue however, the BG plan steps in, and the information is carried by the BG circle. However, only after day 2 or 3, when there is enough information, and the BGs can be risked like that. Remember: more information is ALWAYS better for the Town, please remember last game.

As opposed to Ver and Showtime!, I don't think there is a need to act at once, on every little detail, because that way things really WILL be chaotic. Remember Town, Mafia wants to fool people. We don't have to hide information about Mafia, but we don't HAVE to act upon everything at once. The more we know, the better, the more the Mafia is guessing, the better!

I just want to prevent things from getting out of hand really quick, so although - unfortunately - I have only managed to notice the start of the game this late, I would like to get into the campaign ASAP, and hope for a better future!

So if you want a more steady approach, not rushing into things, and making the Mafia do wrong decisions just like last game, I think I will be able to help the Town with just that. That's basically the main difference between my approach and that of MTF/Ver (who I'd say are the other rather reasonable candidates), and if that is what you'd like, I urge you to vote for me, thus vote for CHANGE! OBA...MYNOCK!!! 2008!!!

No matter, if Plexa does turn out to be on the fishy side, we'll have plenty of people to check alongside him, starting with that supporter list.
