Vivax's attitudes towards wanting to get lurkers before active players generally makes sense. I think his recent posting is much better. I've discussed some of my thoughts on Jocks filter previously. He hasn't posted, and that makes him as good of a lynch as any... even if the lack of resistance bothers me. Frankly, I'm pretty lost this game. I should have more time to play after the holiday weekend ends if I am alive. Hopefully getting rid of an inactive player will help thin the weeds or flip a red.

Night 2 ![]() That afternoon I found myself trudging through the rain to the police station. Imperfection’s late husband was a cop, so I figured I could pick up a lead there. Problem was, according to her, he was about as clean as these city streets. “Can I help you?” An officer greeted me at the door of the station. I hadn’t had the pleasure of meeting this one, but his nameplate said he was Officer GMarshal. He still had that brightness in his eyes that let you know he hadn’t walked the beat long enough for his arches to collapse. A crossword from today’s paper lay half-finished on his desk. It seemed the sticking point was 3 across: wet dirt. How fitting. “Look GMarshal, I am investigating these murders. In particular, I was asked to check out one of your own. Alakaslam’s widow hired me to hunt down some leads. I figure-” “Thanks, but we’ve got it. The force looks after its own.” I hate it when uniforms interrupt me. Don’t get me wrong, I love competent cops, just waiting to finally meet one. “Look”, he jerked his thumb towards booking, “We already arrested our prime suspect. We expect the case to close any day now.” I took this chance to scan the station. Files open, papers disorganized and strewn about - granted, my office looks much the same, but I don’t have a janitorial staff on the payroll.” I saw the guy they thought was their suspect, Jockmcplop. Poor bastard, I already knew he was clean. Nothing I can do at this point but be thankful that this red herring might buy me some time to do some real investigating without the cops getting in the way for a change. Speaking of red herrings, I managed to catch a glance at Alakaslam’s desk calendar. A few vague appointments at the docks? I had my next destination in mind. With a shrug, I turned and left the station. Jockmcplop, the Vanilla Town, was lynched! So then, Tictock is maybe just making up a reason later to justify his scumread when the reason didn't previously exist.... Or, he had some other reason to kill Fecalfeast.Going to get some sleep finnaly. This is the post that makes me want to lynch FF He had made several posts before this, so why is he making apologies and excuses. His next post even suggests he remembered he was running for mayor. I really hope rayn isn't mafia this game. Because that'd give him the perfect excuse to be alive later on. Haven't had the courage to jump down that rabbit hole yet. In theory if mafia has a roleblocker Hapa should get blocked again? I have a hunch I'm gonna get killed, anyways.

I'll await a few comments on the flip and then see what happens at night. Either way my motivation to do stuff should be low not knowing if I'm around tomorrow and with less info than post-night. At most it's odd how Hapa left me off the hook so easily there. Felt like I was his biggest committment in the game.

However, ShoCkeyy didn't try hard with his campaign, by this time he had already stopped campaigning. And his campaign lasted a whole three posts. However, this isn't that helpful as all it proves is that Fecalfeast didn't read carefully, but we already knew that. The interesting part for me is that Fecalfeast is townreading Alakaslam because he's having fun. But why isn't he scumreading him for trying hard with his mayoral campaign? Shouldn't that affect his read on Alakaslam the exact same way it did for Grackaroni and ShoCkeyy?
