Backstory
In the depths of the Saara Desert lies the Headquarters of the Holy Guardians, a secret cult with supernatural powers. Its purpose is to keep the Scarlet Menace from bringing terror to mankind.
The Scarlet Menace are vengeful spirits who travels throughout the spirit realm searching for humans to possess. Each time they kill a human, his enraged spirit becomes part of the Scarlet Menace and starts to haunt humankind with his new brothers. Their objective is to grow in number until they can live freely in the material world with the remaining humans enslaved. Secretly converting human spirits, either by night rituals or by turning innocent people lynched unfairly into vengeful souls, is their way of not going extinct. Leaving the Scarlet Menace out of control is condemning mankind to extinction.
They were first identified by The Sentinel, a now cyborg entity who lives in the deepest level of the Citadel, connected by cables and machines that keep him alive for centuries and link him to all parts of the world. The Sentinel is able to detect the presence of these spirits around the globe. Incapable of moving, he sends one of the Apostholes to get rid of them.
The Apostholes are figures with supernatural powers. Although not usually able to individually detect the possessed ones, they are able to establish a radius of where the spirits are located to build the Birdcage. Just one Aposthole is sent so no suspicions are raised when they arrive at the places they are designated to. The Apostholes are rare creatures with incredible powers that the Holy Guardians cannot afford to lose, although they have theCitadel Academy constantly training other students. So, it is also safer to send just one and believe in his abilities than risking losing more than one Aposthole in case of a mission failure.
The Birdcage is an energetic field created by The Sentinel's technology, which is able to separate the soul from the body of people who touches it. Its form resembles the cylindrical appearance of a common birdcage. Once activated, the Aposthole confines a group of people inside of it. If the Aposthole dies, the Birdcage will last for three whole months. People inside it will be doomed if not able to find food and water inside its radius, and all they can do is finding the Scarlet Menace and prevent them from growing in numbers until no living body is possessed.
The activation of The Birdcage also creates a hologram of The Sentinel. Its voice will echo throughout the whole area with the following message:
"Souls are corrupted and must be freed. It is up to you to decide who are the possessed ones and to eliminate their body in order to put an end to their agony. Humankind future existence lies on your shoulders."
And so the game begins.

Generic Mafia Rules
This game follows the standard TL Mafia rules and follows the banlist. These game specific rules overrides the standard ones, in case of conflict.

The grandmother. Francesca Ricci was studying Law when she met Mario, her husband. They fell in love and she decided to stop trying so hard to be a lawyer, because, well, there are already lot of them. She joined her loved one in his restaurant, “La Premiata”, and thank god she did, because her pastries are the reason the restaurant got its first Michelin star. Mother of Rafaello, Antonio and Lucca, three boys, and grandfather to Lucca Gallo Ricci and Andrezza Gallo Ricci. You never really liked Michela Gallo Ricci, their mother, and married to your son Lucca.

The grandfather. Mario Ricci worked hard most of his life, building a restaurant in Milan called “La Premiata”. His business kept getting bigger and bigger, until he could finally retire and let the family take care of the business. Married to Francesca since he was 22, they lived a long and prosperous life together. He is the father of Rafaello, Antonio and Lucca, three boys, and grandfather to Lucca Gallo Ricci and Andrezza Gallo Ricci. Your greatest disappointment is Antonio, your son, a slob who has no job and stays home every day.

Rafaello is the youngest of the three sons of Mario and Francesca. Since he was young, he wanted to become a lawyer. He wanted to work with human rights and help people. But somehow, in his way, he gave up on this dream and decided to work with civil law. He now manages the legal part of “La Premiata”, the family restaurant. He is married with Fiona Marino Ricci, but have no kids. Mostly because Fiona lost a boy due to natural abortion, and they never recovered from the loss.

Fiona Marino Ricci is married to Rafaello. They met at college and both became great lawyers. They live by managing the legal part of the family restaurant “La Premiata”, but Fiona also is very engaged with pro bono jobs and became a teacher at her university. She doesn’t like Andrezza Gallo Ricci, who she thinks is a snob from a big family.

Antonio Ricci, the slob. 40 years and still living with parents, but no job at all. All he does is wake up, turn on his videogame and play until it is dark. But he is always ready to help the family if they need it. Mario is not feeling well? He will make a tea and call the doctor. Francesca is sad? He will talk to her until she feels well. Unfortunately, his unsuccessful life makes the other family members minimize all his efforts, making him less eager to get his life together. Snowballing, it is.

The youngest of the brothers, and the most handsome, too. Got Michela Gallo Ricci pregnant when they were 17. They were in love. At least Lucca was. The pregnancy led to a marriage. The marriage led to living together. The responsibilities of taking care of a child led to the need of having a job. The need of having a job made him a chef in the family restaurant. They now both work there, and although still living with parents, they have a happy life. They now have two kids, Lucca Gallo Ricci, 19 and Andrezza Gallo Ricci, 16.

Michela Gallo Ricci is married to Lucca Ricci. She is from a rich family, the Gallo’s, that own a farm that produces one of the finest olive oils of the world. She got pregnant from Lucca when she was 17, although she wasn’t sure if she was in love at that time. But, well, a kid will lead to a marriage. And the marriage led to love. Sometimes, love comes after. That’s what happened here. She now works with him at the restaurant, and takes care of the children at home. But, well, her family is always with her, and her snob friends sometimes are a bit of a pain in the ass to the rest of the family. At least they don’t have to spend much with olive oil, right?

Lucca Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallo Ricci! My god, this one is hyperactive! 19 years old, son of Lucca Ricci and Michela Gallo Ricci, he wants to work with cinema! Being an actor! Or maybe a stunt man! Maybe both! But GOD this quarantine is taking its toll. He already told his grandparents Mario and Francesa: “I NEED TO WORK OUT!”. And he does. He likes to swim, to do some sparring, he even got into crossfit at some point. But boy, don’t lock him at home like this. So noisy. The family can’t take anymore.

Andrezza is 16, Lucca Gallo Ricci is her brother, Lucca Ricci and Michela, parents, and Mario and Francesca, grandparents. She feels a little bit detached because she doesn’t really like their routine, nor their company. She prefer the books she is reading. Yeah, the books are fine. “Crime and Punishment” is a great read. If her brother could just shut up for once. Then she could read the Divine Comedy as soon as possible.

As you can see, I want to keep going with the story. I will work forward. But I can also works backwards, explaining what happened in the last 5 years, etc. But this takes time (a lot) and I want to know if anyone is really interested in reading.
I'll keep editing the posts at night.
EDIT: Please let me know if the story sparkled interest. I may start writing a wattpad novel based on this, and chapters will be defined by the players choices in the game.

Day 1
The situation created at the Iguazu Falls, near Argentina, couldn’t be more catastrophic. The Aposthole Samuel Mendes, who had tremendous power, was voted to be killed at the end of the first day. Communications were lost after the second night, and the Birdcage turned off after three months, suggesting that the innocent lives failed to identify all the Scarlet Menance’s threat, succumbing to them.
Five years have passed. During this time, the Scarlet Menace grew stronger, especially in South America. Although The Sentinel kept sending more and more Apostholes throughout the world, the Scarlet Menace showed they are a power not to be underestimated. Once 100 Apostholes, the Citadel could only now count with 12. And they are alive because they don’t are sent to the entire world, spreading the resistance. No. They are the original Apostholes, kept inside the Citadel to train others. For some reason, the souls of the dead ones are not returning to the Citadel, in other to be re-integrated to another body.
The Sentinel needs more Apostholes to handle the situation in South America, or the Scarlet Menace will take over and keeping mankind alive will become impossible.
Information retrieved showed that the Scarlet Menace members called each other accordingly to their military category. Debilitas are the ones who have power of paralyzing spirits at night. Mendacium, the ones that could surpass Fabricio Prata’s ability to concentrate and see the malicious intention of the soul, and Vis were the new members, vengeful spirits, which the biggest power was to seek revenge at all cost.
Those are all old Latin language words, suggesting that the Scarlet Menace beginning is related to the Ancient Rome. Maybe Italy could help with further investigations to understand the enemy better.
The Covid-19 outbreak made easier for the Scarlet Menace to convert souls without being detected in big agglomerations. The quarantine also, in a unwanted way, helped the Holy Guardians with not needing to use the [dblue]Birdcage[dblue] to confine people inside the same space.
These are the reasons why The Sentinel, using his powers, appeared on the screen of the television of a family of 9 people in Milan, Italy. He felt that a strong soul was living inside that place that could possibly became the new The Sentinel. Unfortunately, the Scarlet Menace felt the same, and already corrupted two persons. The Sentinel cannot wait any longer. The TV turned on by itself, and a cyborg figure appeared on the screen:

Night 1
After listening to The Sentinel, the Ricci family didn’t believe much in what was said. They’ve tried to watch some Netflix instead, but the remote controller wasn’t working, nor was the TV buttons. Tired and scared of The Sentinel’s face hanging on the screen, they decided to unplug the machine. However, The Sentinel’s head was still looking at them, as a pacient hunter observing its prey.
Maybe that supernatural stuff was true, then? And maybe… maybe they really would have to kill each other?
If that’s so, someone is corrupted. Someone is not one of their beloved family anymore. But who?
Francesca couldn’t believe it. She decided to go to the kitchen, maybe occupy herself with something, like cooking the lunch or whatever she could think of. A blast sound and drops of blood invaded her kitchen through the window. She looked outside. Someone’s body was falling from the building next to her house. She looked up and saw his neighbor with a gun in his hands and blood covering his face. The Sentinel and the killing is true, and it’s happening everywhere. The family must know.
Eight of them were gathered in the living room, eight but Lucca Gallo, the kid, who decided to not take it that serious, and that he needed to workout. Antonio Ricci, the slob, voted first: Michela Gallo Ricci should die. Maybe because of the snob stuff? But no one took it very seriously. Especially Lucca, her husband, who just ignored it. Once the suspicions started, Francesca decided to leave the living room, and locked herself in her bedroom.
Lucca Gallo Ricci decided to vote his sister. It wasn’t unclear if he really believed she was corrupted, or if he thought she was a bookworm bitch that deserved to die. He then said he had nothing else to add, and went to the kitchen to cook steak with protein, as his muscles needed it. He even decided to start a vlog on his home: the Lucca Gallo Ricci Quarantine Vlog, where he showed how to workout inside home and how to cook a very nutritious meal. The Sentinel made annotations and decided to keep the record on the Citadel. Maybe they could make the Apostholes stronger with those tips.
After several suspicions were raised, two family members were the highest votes: Andrezza Gallo Ricci, the 16 year old girl, and Rafaello, the lawyer. Lucca Ricci couldn’t believe his family would even consider murdering a kid like Andrezza, his daughter. Something wasn’t right. He fought against it.
But to no avail. Andrezza got the highest votes. The family started going in her direction. Lucca Ricci stood in front of them, protecting his daughter. He heard a faint scream behind him. Andrezza had her eyes startled from the pain she felt. His brother, Lucca Gallo, stabbed her from behind with the steak knife. She fell on the ground, coughing and in great pain. Michela had her in her arms. “No, no”. She was suffering. Lucca took the knife from his son’s hands and sliced her daughter’s neck. Blood spilled fast, and quickly she became lifeless. “No one here deserves do suffer”, Lucca said.
Suddenly, his daughter’s skin started to become red. Red. RED. SCARLET. Her eyes rolled and her body entered in convulsion. A deafening scream came from her lungs, but her voice was someone’s else, and a scarlet ectoplasma floated in the air. It was sucked inside the TV screen, as The Sentinel fixedly stared at the family.
Suddenly, a shot was heard. Mario went to his bedroom to find his beloved Francesca on the ground, lifeless, with hole in her head. She obviously took the revolver inside the locked drawer... the Luger Mario had as a war trophy. She couldn’t take it anymore. She couldn’t see her family, that she treated with so much love, killing each other. A note was on the bed. Mario took it. He will read it, but not now. Not now. Goodbye, my love.

Day 2
After the shocking reveal of Andrezza's corruption and death, Michela sat down on the ground, in shock. Lucca couldn't believe what happened. He lost, at the same time, both his mother and his daughter. He looked into his son's eyes, in a mix of hatred and understanding. Although little Lucca Gallo found out the corrupted soul, he had the guts to stab his own sister in her back. What kind of sociopath he could be raising?
Before he could even recover from that loss, Rafaello, as the lawyer he is, asked for everybody's attention and brought a big case on how the Gallo Ricci family would probably be the origin of corruption, and how Michela's reaction to everything felt off. Michela was probably the other corrupted soul and should be dealt with.
"What!?", screamed Lucca furiously at his brother. "Are you out of your mind? Why are you trying to kill my family?".
The brothers rivalry became unbearable. Suspicions were brought everywhere, and they couldn't agree with anything. Rafaello then said: "either your wife dies or you guys kill me". "Fine", said Lucca, "we kill you then".
Antonio, who was silently watching everything, finally got into the discussion:
We had enough today. You both are not thinking rationally. Go to sleep and we will solve this tomorrow.
"How come the kid knew who was corrupted?" - Fiona asked.
"I've read her diary" - said Lucca Gallo, "and she was not acting like herself at all".
Fiona opened her mouth to say more, but Antonio interrupted:
"I think you're talking too much. Go to sleep. We will figure this out tomorrow".
She silently, but reluctantly, agreed.
"Can I have Andrezza's room tonight?" the Lucca boy asked his father. Lucca, torn between protecting his son from the rest of his family or protecting his wife from his own child, agreed. "Take what you need to spend the night and lock the door. We don't know what might happen at night".
He was right. While Lucca Gallo was recording videos of balloon popping, furniture fixing and pandemic safety tips, a loud scream came from the bathroom.
Mario got out of his bedroom with his Luger to find Antonio's body lying on the ground, lifeless. All his veins were colored in scarlet hue.
Vivax was killed last night. She is from a rich family, the Gallo’s, that own a farm that produces one of the finest olive oils of the world. She got pregnant from Lucca when she was 17, although she wasn’t sure if she was in love at that time. But, well, a kid will lead to a marriage. And the marriage led to love. Sometimes, love comes after. That’s what happened here. She now works with him at the restaurant, and takes care of the children at home. But, well, her family is always with her, and her snob friends sometimes are a bit of a pain in the ass to the rest of the family. At least they don’t have to spend much with olive oil, right?

Got Michela Gallo Ricci pregnant when they were 17. They were in love. At least Lucca was. The pregnancy led to a marriage. The marriage led to living together. The responsibilities of taking care of a child led to the need of having a job. The need of having a job made him a chef in the family restaurant. They now both work there, and although still living with parents, they have a happy life. They now have two kids, Lucca Gallo Ricci, 19 and Andrezza Gallo Ricci, 16..

Please note that rayn kill was randomized because scum didn't send a night kill.
I've thought about the rules and even considered not sending a KP. But the mechanics are really clear: "mafia cannot no kill." The only outcome possible was randomizing.
I also decided to let thread know because this is not written in the rules and town couldn't possibly consider this outcome. I am now updating the mechanics so this may not happen in the future.

ENDGAME
With his entire family dead, Lucca Gallo stood strong in the house. The shock of being the last member of his lineage made him stop posting new videos. However, he had to be strong and discover who was the last corrupted spirit. He would have his revenge with the Scarlet Menace.
The rest of the family was still suspicious of the Gallo Riccis. They believed that, if Andrezza was corrupted, someone from that part was, too. They started voting each other and, well, Rafaello was certain Lucca Gallo was the final one. He had to be.
However, when Rafaello was building his case and pointing every suspicions at Lucca Gallo, he could see that his wife, Fiona, had a discreet yet diabolical smile on her face. Something wasn't right. Fiona would never smile in such situation. Actually, as far as he knew her, Fiona would take all her knowledge as a lawyer and be part of the discussion. She would advocate that they shouldn't kill themselves, as a defender of the Human Rights. In dubio pro reo. If there was a better lawyer than Rafaello, that would be Fiona.
Rafaello knew Fiona wasn't being herself. But it was his wife, wasn't it? How could he possibly suspect her? It's the woman he loves.
But Fiona wasn't being herself. And the more he thought about it, the more he realized she could be corrupted. His brother, Antonio, was suspicious since the beginning. Maybe... maybe that's why he was the first one to be killed.
Rafaello was drowning in self-doubt. Mario stepped in: "it's Fiona, Rafaello. Antonio could be a very lazy person, but he was brilliant. Let me have my vendetta". Lucca Gallo looked at Rafaello's eyes and said "you know I'm as innocent as a baby seal".
Rafaello knew.
Fiona finally decided to lawyer up and started throwing arguments that, well, were pretty much convincing. But in their hearts, they knew. They knew.
Lucca Gallo ran to get the knife but Fiona caught it first. She moved to stab him. Lucca tried to dodge, but had his arm sliced and blood started to spread. He fell on the ground. She tried to stab him in the neck but he held her arm. Thanks to his workout routine, he was barely able to hold her back. Until her head exploded.
Rafaello shot her with the rifle, tears pouring down his face.
Her skin became red and a scarlet ectoplasm appeared from her mouth with an unearthly scream.
The TV turned on and the The Sentinel appeared.
"Thanks to you and your resilience, mankind has a better chance to prevail. Be strong. Now please, everyone but Lucca Gallo leave the room."
They did so. Lucca Gallo stayed.
After a couple of hours, Rafaello decided to see how Lucca was. He wasn't their anymore. On the table, a note:
"The Sentinel said I have eyes to see. He said they need me. I have no reason to stay here. I'm going to the Citadel, to become an Aposthole. Farewell."

They met at college and both became great lawyers. They live by managing the legal part of the family restaurant “La Premiata”, but Fiona also is very engaged with pro bono jobs and became a teacher at her university. She doesn’t like Andrezza Gallo Ricci, who she thinks is a snob from a big family.

My only problem is that I don't have the time to keep constant track of players' posts, but I can keep up with the other affairs.
I also must say that it ain't easy to create flavour based on what players constantly do, because I can't write the flavors whenever I have free time, and english isn't my first language. It's hard for me to write something nice to read.
Anyway, I want to keep hosting if Vivax isn't putting his Turbo mafia up, I'll think of another Holy Guardians chapter.
