They’ve tried to watch some Netflix instead, but the remote controller wasn’t working, nor was the TV buttons. Tired and scared of The Sentinel’s face hanging on the screen, they decided to unplug the machine. However, The Sentinel’s head was still looking at them, as a pacient hunter observing its prey. Maybe that supernatural stuff was true, then? And maybe… maybe they really would have to kill each other? If that’s so, someone is corrupted. Someone is not one of their beloved family anymore. But who? Francesca couldn’t believe it. She decided to go to the kitchen, maybe occupy herself with something, like cooking the lunch or whatever she could think of. A blast sound and drops of blood invaded her kitchen through the window. She looked outside. Someone’s body was falling from the building next to her house. She looked up and saw his neighbor with a gun in his hands and blood covering his face. The Sentinel and the killing is true, and it’s happening everywhere. The family must know. Eight of them were gathered in the living room, eight but Lucca Gallo, the kid, who decided to not take it that serious, and that he needed to workout. Antonio Ricci, the slob, voted first: Michela Gallo Ricci should die. Maybe because of the snob stuff? But no one took it very seriously. Especially Lucca, her husband, who just ignored it. Once the suspicions started, Francesca decided to leave the living room, and locked herself in her bedroom. Lucca Gallo Ricci decided to vote his sister. It wasn’t unclear if he really believed she was corrupted, or if he thought she was a bookworm bitch that deserved to die. He then said he had nothing else to add, and went to the kitchen to cook steak with protein, as his muscles needed it. He even decided to start a vlog on his home: the Lucca Gallo Ricci Quarantine Vlog, where he showed how to workout inside home and how to cook a very nutritious meal. The Sentinel made annotations and decided to keep the record on the Citadel. Maybe they could make the Apostholes stronger with those tips. After several suspicions were raised, two family members were the highest votes: Andrezza Gallo Ricci, the 16 year old girl, and Rafaello, the lawyer. Lucca Ricci couldn’t believe his family would even consider murdering a kid like Andrezza, his daughter. Something wasn’t right. He fought against it. But to no avail. Andrezza got the highest votes. The family started going in her direction. Lucca Ricci stood in front of them, protecting his daughter. He heard a faint scream behind him. Andrezza had her eyes startled from the pain she felt. His brother, Lucca Gallo, stabbed her from behind with the steak knife. She fell on the ground, coughing and in great pain. Michela had her in her arms. “No, no”. She was suffering. Lucca took the knife from his son’s hands and sliced her daughter’s neck. Blood spilled fast, and quickly she became lifeless. “No one here deserves do suffer”, Lucca said. Suddenly, his daughter’s skin started to become red. Red. RED. SCARLET. Her eyes rolled and her body entered in convulsion. A deafening scream came from her lungs, but her voice was someone’s else, and a scarlet ectoplasma floated in the air. It was sucked inside the TV screen, as The Sentinel fixedly stared at the family. Suddenly, a shot was heard. Mario went to his bedroom to find his beloved Francesca on the ground, lifeless, with hole in her head. She obviously took the revolver inside the locked drawer... the Luger Mario had as a war trophy. She couldn’t take it anymore. She couldn’t see her family, that she treated with so much love, killing each other. A note was on the bed. Mario took it. He will read it, but not now. Not now. Goodbye, my love. Mother of Rafaello, Antonio and Lucca, three boys, and grandfather to Lucca Gallo Ricci and Andrezza Gallo Ricci.
