I suspect it was something of a bait to check reactions. As to what he was looking for exactly, I think he'd need to answer that himself. I get the feeling he was having a laugh too, like some of the other entry posts.
It's the lack of follow through or trying to push it that doesn't push it into scum territory for me. There was the one post about it, some reactions, and it didn't eat up a bunch of thread space with back and forth.

The big problem I have with Grack’s stuff is that it just lacks any sort of actual effort to scum hunt. He barely pushes either of his reads and his cases behind them are flimsy at best. He is also strangely defensive of acro and mentions not wanting to lynch him several times. TicTock and Tumblewood are both scumreading him and I feel like both of them have been approaching the game from a townie mindset. Interestingly enough Acro is also scumreading him despite Grack’s consistent defense on him.

Apparently, the idea of having different levels of reads is a foreign concept to him. I felt then and do now as well that grack would be a better lynch than conversion. So many people just willing to toss me aside the few times my name is mentioned, very few actually looking to engage.
Vivax stands out in that regard as the only one who actually looked to question me on anything I've said directly. I don't know what to make of that, truly. Never followed up after I answered him but also hasn't taken the easy route by saying bad play = scum play like everyone else. Can't commit to a good read here mostly because I feel like he'll eventually revral himself one way or another as the game progresses.

My weakness is I often tie people's alignments to their reads of me but I can't help but be curious.
Stuff like rsoul's read of me makes me lean scum on her because it feels like a massive cop-out when I know she's way more capable and at the very least could have taken the bad=scum route or formulated some opinion on my lacklustre performance thus far. It's real easy.

I didn’t answer you directly because around two posts later I answered someone else about why I thought HF was mayor material/town. I forgot to explicitly state that Sentinel would have been policy. Although I don’t think I would have changed my mayor vote if Sentinel wasn’t HF’s target. I’m still happy with how HF will determine the mayor lynch.
