She isn't coming back though, she was so down over this game, she didn't even want to do her own postgame. Not that she was ever able to, you can't really dick around with clients.

The good news is that I've convinced her at least for now to stick around TL btw, she won't play forum mafia again but I know she enjoyed the tabletop games, she told me she's at a timezone disadvantage since most of the players are US-based though, but it was one of the things she enjoyed about the community.

Without reading filters Shape seems like the obv choice from my PoV, but I should do you all justice and actually read HtS's filter (Hell just the fact that she's been making nonstop WoT type posts might be something to note, kus god does it make me not wanna read her filter) and recheck Gum.

I could tinfoil Koshi, but honestly he might deserve the win if he is mafia here. The buddying has been spot on if mafia.

I think I've finally figured out the balance between game and rl obviously I'm using the games as a more social structure than I use to which is more enjoyable which helps me cut down on the bm.

I hope HTS comes back for my themed game I finally finished with the help of the great rsoultin. Since she's a big fan of tabletop games I hope she comes back for it.

I didn't play optional d1 by far and I think the meta of TL with shenanigans is way out of whack and it's way way to heavily relied on really skewers votes and ruins almost any vote analytics that you can do and I wish it wasn't so prevalent.

Vote count analysis is certainly an important part of deciding who is mafia. But it's absolutely silly to rely on it as key analysis. This is not the first game where a rather lazy scum performance (sorry Shape!) gets a free pass because players are not willing to look past voting actions on a very surface level.

If you want to be good at this game, you have to collect many different types of evidence on a player, weigh them together, and come to a conclusion.

This is hard. But it's the only way to be good or accurate.

Using vote-counts as a crutch for doing thorough analysis is how these types of games happen for town.

but I'm not sure how to get around the fact she hasn't had fun in ages though, she has reiterated that to both of us, I think it really started last autumn, she had some major issues with someone who eventually got banned in Resistance and she threw Gaiden and she was forced to play those games abroad (read: US time) and then Dark Tournament, anyone in that game should remember what happened to her, RL aside, I skewered her that game, and she hadn't played since. the meltdown in the mafia qt was unbelievable.

I'm just saying it's not just this game, it's a long string of games she really hasn't enjoyed (or RL has fucked her over) and 90% of the time it's not because of BM, so I'm not sure how to be more convincing.

one general observation I have noticed, I've seen a LOT of day ones go pretty chaotic...I honestly think TL players should be a little more proactive lynching lurkers, people seem to be pretty averse to policy lynches and I have never figured out why.

the only other thing I'll just say is this - why gumshoe used your death night one against hts for nk wifom, that was something that completely confused me.
