So a large part of the reason I'm not returning is a combination of RL but also in conjunction with that, it is also because this game should have been a sweet spot for me.

My new job (since Feb) I don't have the downtime to play like I used to. Long story short, more collaborative team work leaves less time for that. The fact this is my first and only game since early Dec 15 should be indicative of that.

The roster looked excellent (and tbf no one was really BMing this game), it was a post-restricted game and RL, until mylo, was treating me well enough that I thought I could play a good game as either alignment.

That said I wasn't without my mistakes, but far too many people didn't or couldn't work with me (or with each other) for me to enjoy, I don't mind losing or getting tunnelled or getting mislynched as much as to the why.

gumshoe assuming I was correct on him did well picking the right people to cruise into mylo, good on him.

There are town losses that I wasn't feeling so miserable/frustrating as this, there are times when I was sacked as mafia that I knew where I went wrong I had to take it on the chin. But this game was really difficult to swallow given the sheer amount of work I've put in, the most in my year and a half here, and the most in my seven years of forum mafia.

I'll def take a look at obs qt to see the reactions before I leave, but yeah.

If I had to call out individuals from a pure gameplay standpoint, Damdred/Fidei/Koshi are probably the ones I'm most pissed at from a gameplay standpoint, Damdred, I've said what I've said in thread. I realise it was Day 1 so I'm a little more forgiving now but I could not follow his train of thought. Koshi, assuming he was town, never saw eye to eye with how I (over)analysed the game early game.

That said, I will take 100% blame for derping on Fecalfeast and Tictock. If I was wrong on gumshoe, people are welcome to rage at me all they want. I've got no issue with that there. My communication I know was problematic and the post limit this game I couldn't work around and I consciously tried to work on that progressing through.

This said, I don't know where to begin with Fidei. I'm aware he's not seen me at my worst as town and that might have been part of the problem here. What is most shocking about his play though is that Fidei would never even consider others bluesniping him - he was mafia in NSM18 to see how straightforward it was for his scummates to pick off someone they'd never played with. KMatt's first time ever as mafia and he saw how the DT was blue - it's not hard to go/yolo/guess after someone who is playing under the radar. So how could he not consider others doing the same? I'm not the only person he's played with, and that's clearly coloured his read of me and most likely affected his ability (or desire IDK) to work with me. Shambolic, only because I thought we both knew each other so well and it was a missed opportunity. Beyond the fear read I was also completely unclear on his approach to me.

Tumblewood, I got nothing against you, and I understand you are inexperienced so I'll just say this, if you are an un-CCed blue and you have the trust of the town, the complete trust of the town, 100% make use of it. It doesn't matter if you think you are a good player or not, it's always possible you'll see something others won't. That said WP shooting sicklucker. I felt that had made our lives easier.

TLDR - Despite the post-restriction, playerlist, and RL being optimal for me (the game started on the tail end of a holiday for me) this was a frustrating game at best and I'm going to be quite frankly disinclined to play in almost any other condition with more of a time crunch from RL and that's what really this boils down to.

IDK, but this game ultimately make me realise it's not really worth my ever shrinking time playing here. I feel terrible saying this but I've felt this way for awhile. I just haven't found my experience rewarding enough and with a few exceptions it's not attributable to BM.

The modding was fine this game, thanks again Lex and Hapa, I had no issues there, this is solely a reflection on my gameplay experience and the players.

GGs, I apologise if I offended anyone, but it's over for me and I'll see you all around. I'm not disappearing from Steam/Skype whatever...I'll admit voice mafia also has never been my cup of tea either but I'm around on discord if you'll still have me around.
