Night 1 Chapter 1: The Trap is Sprung Flavor is for fun, and does not have any clues regarding the setup At first the room was silent, nobody even moved as the weight of the situation sunk in for each of them. "What the hell are you thinking LoneMeow!" cried Roy in anger. Roy's hand was raised as though he were about to make a spark. "You Basterd! You lure us all into some sort of deathtrap and ask us to point fingers at one another? You fail to give us any proof or any assurance that you yourself are not working against the interests of the State!?" He points to Bradley, "You invited the Führer into this trap risking his life and yet speak of traitors being among US? King Bradley stands. "Yes. I think it is time for us to see what it is that has brought you to this conclusion Sergeant-Major." His gaze locks with Roy, with something fierce hidden behind it. "Though Flame Alchemist... I do not like your implication that I am unable to take care of myself or that I would so easily walk into a trap." The Führer's voice grew sharp as he scolded Mustang. For a moment the look in the Führer's eye had everyone in the room frightened speechless, but then his face dropped as he let out a laugh and grinned. "Though, I truly do appreciate that officers like you exist in our ranks Roy. Your first thoughts were of my safety and not your own. That is truly an ... impressive testimony to your loyalty." He turns and approaches LoneMeow. "Now, about those documents and evidence you claim to have. I would like to examine them in detail as I can assure you there is nothing that happens in our military that does not escape my notice." The man Roy believed to be Marcoh, the crystal alchemist, stood. "Actually, I believe LoneMeow may be onto something here." He stepped to the front of the room and turned to face the others. "I was approached recently by a couple of strange individuals who claimed to be with the military. They shared some things with me related to creating something similar to a philosopher stone, and asked me to come work for them. They said we would be working in secret to create the base for a philosopher stone and study ways to adopt it's power for military use." He gulped, "I told them I needed some time to think the offer over, and did some digging on my own. I couldn't find any record of the people I had spoken to, and there was no active research about the stone going on besides my own of course. I haven't yet replied, but to be honest I was tempted to join them to learn more about the stone." Marcoh turned to look at LoneMeow. "When you spoke earlier, those two that I met came to mind. They claimed to be with the military yet were acting on their own agenda. I believe you may well be correct that there is something wrong in the military." Marcoh turned once more to the group assembled in front of him. "I know this may be hard to believe, but we owe it to ourselves to consider the possibility that LoneMeow speaks the truth." As Marcoh's words sunk in the room slowly became alive with chatter. The Führer and Marcoh both seemed willing to accept the word of the Seargeant-Major, maybe this wasn't so crazy. LoneMeow spoke up before the chatter made it hard to hear. "I've provided packets of all relevant information for all of you. We have the rest of the afternoon to discuss and can reconvene in the morning." The bit of chatter that had broken out before now turned into discussion and then full blown debate as everyone had time to review the information provided. A few, like Marcoh, recounted tales of strange events and others discussed rumors. A few clear groups formed as those who were familiar with each other teamed up to pour over their packets. Things started out as a collaborative exchange as ideas and information were exchanged. However, the notion that there could be traitors within this very group began to come up more and more and this naturally began to sour the mood. It was when the accusations began that things became ugly. It all happened too fast for anyone to really grasp that the situation was getting out of control. Suddenly one group became convinced that they had identified a traitor and kept pushing the man. The man tried to reason with the small mob, but to no avail and it wasn't long before things became physical. Frightened for his safety he ran from the room and turned to make a run for the entrance. LoneMeow, seeing the situation too late, turned and cried out to him. "No, wait! My men have orders to shoot anyone trying to escape before the alchemic seal is complete! Dammit, you fool! His warning came too late though, and moments later they heard the doors crash open and the sounds of gunfire erupt from outside. Corporeal Tictock ran a few moments later. "Sir! I'm so sorry. He caught me by surprise and knocked me down before I had a chance to say anything. I'm... I'm afraid the man's been killed sir." His head dropped as he reported the news. "Dammit!" cursed LoneMoew "Was there...Do you have his identity?" much more quietly speaking just to Tictock "there was no evidence he was what we are looking for?" Tictock fumbled through some paperwork. "His name was Scott an officer stationed at a border checkpoint uh...#31337. Sir everything checked out, I think we can be certain he was military" LoneMeow stood in silence for a few moments, then turned back to the once more silent group. "I think that is enough for today. We will wait here for Tictock to give us the all clear that the seal is in place, which will prevent another incident like this. Then I will show everyone to their rooms where I hope we can cool our heads." It is just like misplaced anger at absolutly nothing that sidetracks the game and gives him an excuse to post but not do anything. This is false. If you go back I was clearly not angry. I was being a b**ch but that =/= anger. Also, it was in no way overboard. I was very sarcastic and made that very clear.

However he has a clear objective in this game which is to push me, he cares very little for his survivor and is pushing for himself to be lynched to an extent which probably will come to fruition. While its not necessarily a good heuristic it does exist that mafia players (moos included) like to survive, especially someone like moos who likes playing as mafia. In his last mafia game from what I can understand he did show anger martyr but when pressure slowly left him he continued to try to survive and push his team mate, and at some points just leaving the thread. Here whats his plan exactly? To push me care very little for his survival and fuck off. It seems more like a town not really caring that he rolled town rather than a mafia who wants to survive the day phase. As to my vote on scott, I think hes quite possibly the best choice today. I do not have a huge lead as to who I think is the scummiest but i'm willing to listen to other cases currently but between scott and moos I would pick scott. Absolutely false. I'm back and willing to participate lmao. But a post like this makes you scum as well.

So... uh... I have no clue what he is trying to achieve. Posting to be posting? He certainly isn't pushing his suspect which still seems to be trfel? Well suck it I was busy helping out my cousin that I just found out had MS. Which would be a super hard dick move to fake, imo. Posts like these are super weak and just serve to stir up lynch sentiment on someone else without actually committing to anything. Scum ping.

But disinformation isn't committing to anything, hes keeping his options open to see which way the wind is going to blow so that he can conceivably go with thread sentiment. His last two posts have set him up so that he can sheep either side as he has doubts about both. Its interesting to say the least. I am but a leaf in the wind. And my nick is disformation without in. I am not 100% sure how the automated vote counting tool handles votes, so you might want to remedy that. Okay, okay. I will try to come up with an conclusion about MoosyDoosy vs. Scott31337. Let me finish MoosyDoosy's filter first. As you see I have quite a hard time deciding which one I dislike more as I am not 100% on one of them. Since this is a game of mafia and I am town I can't be 100% on anyone... which causes me some distress. I don't like making the wrong choices and that is why I appear as being waffly or keeping my options open. So again sry for my bad play town, but please bear with me. I understand that you want to lynch me for that, but I am town. Hello? What is with this post? You're explaining what you think town should feel and you're saying you feel that way? ???

It's kinda impossible to tell, but I liked his Farah read. I don't think the read is good, but Moosy tends (as town) to be staunch on some really out there read that no one else sees. Yes, he does the same thing as scum. Yes, IMO he'll do anything he'd do as town as scum including acting like an ass. I don't have a super strong read on him that I can make a town case on him, but I feel about as strong about the read on him as I did in the last game (where I was tracker and was trying to decouple him and scumdred). The thing that really makes me think he's town isn't just his outburst around the Farah thing; more importantly it's how he comes back to it later on. The bounce back on was really, really towny I think. It's this, "I want to fuck people over and I don't want to fuck people over" dissonance that I don't think he can really fake as mafia. Scott 4.5/7--He's still null-ish. This seems kinda funny, but I don't really get the sense that anyone is trying to shield or direct votes towards him. Trfel iirc was the first to sorta toss a vote his way and it didn't seem bussy for cred or protecty for Moosy. It feels a bit TvT on the lynch and his catching up post about ~p30 (or around that area) kinda had similar thoughts to where I thought I was when I was catching up. Shining 5.5/7--I could be wrong on him; it's not just the fact that he's quoting in every post or thereabouts. He's no over explainy which he does as mafia. He's not really disconnected from the thread. He's had a good thought or two. Meta fits which is enough for now. ##Vote: Breshke--Breshke has 2 posts that I semi-like. The problem being that they say things that are easy to say and don't really add anything. The problem that I have with Breshke is that when he's town his posts bounce off the thread and interact with the thread. By this, I don't mean Breshke asks things to people and stuff. Rather, he'll see a thought or something in the thread that spurns a new thought, a new direction. It's as if he reads something and it gets put together with something else to form something slightly old mixed with something new. There's also the fact that in general, he's asking far more isolated questions of people than I remember him doing; especially when he drops them as if he doesn't care about them. So... Moosy: Agree that his bounce back was rather townish. Scott: I still don't like his filter very much. But my gut doesn't agree with lynching him... and you are right, this thread is awfully quiet. Also in the game we lynched Scott D1 he basically just gave up and rolled over. This time he is at least trying to catch up... The Shining: I think I posted before that I am okay with giving him one Day, but he has to put in a lot of work D2. Hmm... Breshke... tbh he is a bit under the radar for me... filter diving him now.
