I was originally coming to the same conclusion as you regarding the 1-liners though. I think you're town for seeing that and thinking it is mafia. I just read it deeper and he seemed genuinely convinced that koshi was scum for his attitude and actions
What bugs me is that I don't see how you could say "I need meta to be able to see the difference between other games and now" when you have recent firsthand experience with someone being town enough to realize that they're playing completely differently from before.
I'm trying to decide if I should shoot Koshi over Onegu. Like Koshi's fucking terrible after D1 and, if he's town, has sand up his vag and is doing nothing now. I think Onegu is a much better shot, but a Koshi shot would be much more gratifying.

Okay, that makes sense to me.
Check out Horn of Africa. What was left of Golden Sun and Glory Seeker might also be good checks, though they're both really old.
I'd say that Koshi might be my preferred shot but meh. I can't say I'm hyper interested in today's shot specifically because one of the more passionate players (geript, rayn, robik) are probably going to shoot someone asap and I don't have the same kind of conviction they do atm.
(Though I read robik's post on shooting batsnacks and I might be inclined to agree with that. Batsnacks behaving like a ghost is more indicative of scum than town in my experiences.)
