It is much more likely that misguided town believes their case wholeheartedly and tunnels." I don't agree with this in this. In principle, it makes sense to lynch the more dangerous scum first. However, when that starts meeting opposition, there is no reason to do so. If a townie is interested in solving the game, they will be fine with letting a perceived dangerous scum stay alive for an extra day, because they have arguments and they know that their arguments are right. Bad arguments cannot normally stand up to good arguments. If there are two scum players to lynch, it isn't very important at all to lynch the more "dangerous" scum first. For a player as constantly scumread as jarjarbinks, it makes sense that he is thinking about how his posts will look to others and whether or not he will be scumread for it. I want to lynch Tere/Palmar. Side note, in the event that Tere/Palmar is not mafia, I still don't know that I would be convinced to vote for jarjarbinks. I don't think that The Shining going through all of this effort to make a case despite having a very good lynch option already confirms him to be town. A mafia!The Shining would actually have good reasons for doing this as well. I need to do more investigation to see what this case says about The Shining's alignment, but I have a bunch of good reasons to townread The Shining from earlier, so I don't think that he is scum. | ||

1) he had a longer filter than all of you except Trfel 2) One of the main reasons you want to lynch me is that he apparently made a very much against the grain case on Trfel. Which faction in mafia is more likely to do outlandish stuff? But I guess it doesn't really matter. You guys seem already quite set in stone. | ||

Reasons: I have already explained why I am not going to consider voting Trfel and Shining. I just skimmed zlefin's filter and while shorter than jjb's, which is somewhat of a concern, my previous point stands. He is being blatantly anti-town and he doesn't care, this might actually indicate he's town. Also, his interactions with silver felt more natural. He tried to converse with silver whereas jjb mostly just talked about silver (and generally in the form of lists). In addition, jjb didn't really seem to try to follow up any investigation on me (as opposed to Trfel). I really, really hope you guys see what is happening here. I want to once again point out that combined we have a 13 page filter. I want to point out that making a case out of left field is NOT a mafia tell. Mafia generally always attempts to stay on good terms with everyone in the thread. So yeah, I got a shitty hand, I feel like I have given plenty of reasons for how I have acted, and how to proceed. If you do decide to lynch me, please do NOT consider my reads any better than anyone else's. In fact, you should probably read my filter, but make sure to cross-check whatever I posted against what you already think, because I have not read this game from the beginning like you guys. I have a good insight into this particular day, but what happened previously... well I wasn't there, you were. | ||

Given that it's a weekend, I felt like the best use of my time was to analyse what is right in front of me, instead of double checking ancient history. I actually feel like just from today I have gotten a fairly good grasp of what's going on. Obviously it's never going to be perfect because it's based on incomplete information. But yeah, I really think diving too much into filters that were created when I wasn't there would be a bad use of my limited time. | ||

This is rushed, I'll try to answer what I can and felt was most relevant. JJB's defense is horrible. I really find it telling that Trfel can find better defenses for JJB than Trfel can. And I hate hate hate newbie meta cases. Maybe this is Geript rubbing off on me from last Student game but it is too weak of a point for me to give any credit. BUT, objectively, JJB did link his filter to the last 2 town games. Meta wise, he has a bigger filter this game with less content. Take a look at that game where we lynched him D3 and lost. Trfel made a point that JJB was asked for a Silver read and therefore may not have been committed to it for that reason. In his interactions with others in these other town games, his responses are much more in depth when people ask him for his opinion compared to the flimsy Silver read IN WHICH HE NEVER FLATLY STATES HER ALIGNMENT. This makes me think all of JJb's meta case appeals are just BS. He could very well knowingly have emulated his town play, and pretty well at that, except for his interactions with Silver. | ||

It really is frustrating that zlefin never checked in since the case was posted. Even though I want to lynch Tere/Palmar, I wish he would have showed up and provided input. Palmar, the reason that Tere's push on me is bad isn't because she pushed for my lynch. The Shining scumread me, and I townread him for doing so. The reason that I scumread Tere for her push is because it was built on faulty reasoning and done in an extremely suspicious manner. | ||
