It's possible he just thinks you're scum and wants to lynch you, regardless of his other reads. A whole lot of people were leaning that way during day 1 so I wouldn't think it's the most surprising thought in the world.

I have done less than anyone here, yet I see a whole bunch of cases on other people based on what they "haven't" done.
This is a bunch of people busy trying to make "cases" for lack of knowledge about how to actually scum hunt.
Not that I know how to do this myself, but I do know that accusing people that don't immediately form reads while throwing out random reads yourself is smash board style mafia play. (No offense to HBC frog, and by the way I'm using talk text, but then again frog you know what I'm talking about)
What makes a person scum changes every game. Everybody realizes when they roll scum that there are certain traits that they find scummy. Often times, other people also find those things scummy. Most of the time lurking is considered scummy universally however.
So generally, lurker scum are people that actually don't know how to play as scum gambling on Wifom.
However, I don't think anyone is truly lurking this game that hasn't already been lynched. Hence, need to use tactics to find active scum!

However, The reason for this is often that there is no uncommon knowledge to draw from in existence!
Still, there are tools available to a town that we are not using. One of these is genuine human error mistakes; not "scum slips" mind you, but mistakes. Things that a person does different from what they would normally do as a town player without realizing that it would actually be different. One of the major and defining traits in that sense is lying; HolyFlare just gave us a beautiful example of town lying (there's my read on holyflare) but that's the type of thing that we call "bBig plays". I mean things where somebody seems convincing, but when you really examine what they're saying, you find that they have not kept their story straight while they have not really been explaining a change in their mind.
