Also - Nobody really noticed that marine did not understand the rules. As I pointed out in the obs chat, I am very surprised that nobody corrected him on not even knowing how much KP does mafia have. People probably didn't even read his post as well as it deserved to be read. Overall, you really did play a great game. Your scum play is very good in my mind, and the only way to lynch you, really, felt like using power of elimination, which could only really get done in the endgame. So - well played! | ||

Superbia's lack of tunelling the entire game, perfect analysis, calm and humble nature and lack of swear words in the thread led to town's victory in this game, and was not the cause of Jenny deciding to stop playing mafia here. | ||

He took all the blame for a wrong decision, that wasn't even easy to begin with... and it's not like 2 town-modkills didn't help mafia immensely. Imagine, what this game would have looked like with 5 town alive instead of 3. You and marine played a huge role in this mafia victory as well. | ||

Thanks to everyone for your comments on the flavor. Honestly I've never actually been that that into Disney, lol, I just thought it would be a goofy (badum-tsss) sort of theme and I am glad you enjoyed it. I can only hope that the FBI does not apprehend me due to the volume of Disney princess images I went through/pushed together for this game. Setup The game setup I rolled for matrix6 has the lowest town win percentage, but I believe RNG is kind of undermined if you reroll so I stuck with it. I'm grateful we had the addition of an extra town (Daydreamarine) to bring the numbers up to 10 instead of 9 - I didn't think it would balance things necessarily, but hoped it would help. I think mafia played quite well in reading into Daydream's post that he was the jailor, and considering whether shooting Jenny early game would be effective. Post-game attitude/Superbia I really don't think you guys have a good post-game attitude when you are criticizing superbia. If you've played mafia before, you have probably played with people who are wrong and probably been wrong yourself. It's not a game you should expect to play perfectly the first time you play it, or even the tenth or twentieth time you play it. You can play poorly and be right; you can play well and be wrong. Personally I think the most towny way is to push reads, to encourage discussion, to ensure that people talk. It's easier (usually) for town to talk freely and honestly and more difficult for mafia (because they have to fabricate intent). So, even if Superbia ended up with the wrong conclusions, I feel that his pushes on players were good plays - they indicated his line of thinking (so you all could consider his approach) and pointed out things to address that could get you townread by him. I think it was addressed above or in QT, but certainly one of few tells I think Barakos had was his overall lack of pushing. Anyway, I'll try to come back with better examples and thoughts sometime next week. If you want to play in another newbie game, I'd say check the forums sometime next week, usually one is posted within a couple days of another ending. If you want to jump into the deep end, there's other games open on the forum, just make sure to be active in the games  Even for the players who were warned/modkilled, thank you for playing and I hope you enjoyed (or at least were not soured by) the game. | ||

Forum mafia is draining because it takes time and dedication. If you can't be here and devote such time and dedication then the games will end up with tons of modkills, like this one. What you all need to remember is that this is Superbias first game. Everyone have different amount of experience with the game and shitting on someone after a game that they went to final 3 in, is not very nice. So shame on you. Yes, it was frustrating, but that's just how this game is. To be able to handle mafia, especially if it's live mafia or video mafia you just need to be a bit tougher and try to not let things people say and do phase you. It's not a game of being nice and stroking eachothers egos nor is it a game of insults and bad mannerism. It's a game of lies and deceit. Me taking a break for a while has nothing to do with Superbia and the choice he made, more about the effort I put in to it and now I just need a breather. | ||

Then again wade did let you down so hard, so if he wouldn't get modkilled, you would never be put into such a situation in the first place. You getting mod killed was a tragedy. truly. Totally different game if that doesn't happen. | ||

But based on your grading of Superbia, if I just worked on analysis and didn't change anything about my play (well short being understandable too but I AM ENIGMA) I would be better than Marvellosity, Blazinghand, Palmar, and Raynpelikoneet just to name a few. That's not happening even if I manage perfect analysis dude; I would have to tunnel scum when I found them and be willing to paint myself in a credible light to push my reads. I am just expressing that I really did not like how he played, and hope that he will take his mistakes to heart and learn from them. I know I will learn from mine. That's all there is to it really. I do not hate superbia, or think that he's a horrible person or whatnot, or think that I am greater than him, because I am a newbie myself in this. Anyways- Thanks again for the game, Amiko. It was a really good experience to have. | ||
