Why have a pool of 4 players to lynch in, when mafia can shoot one and you have 3 instead? One lynch is going to end the game anyway, so you may as well take 33% odds as opposed to 25%. If that was the situation then I get it. I was hosting but I paid about 2% attention. I was purely updating vote counts XD
Yeah 4 players no confirmed always sleep.

Honestly, I felt really useless for the majority of this game, so I'm really glad I found a way to give Barakos some sort of good advice. He basically dominated this game from start to finish, which is way more than I can say about how my own scumgames have turned out. Holyflare and I were basically hangers-on for the one man show that made up our scum QT.
There was a lot of luck involved in this game for both sides. The lilwade modkill should have 100% resulted in a town victory on the spot but nobody took advantage of it...And then the jailor got modkilled and Barakos shot the bulletproof, ensuring town had yet another chance to take the game away.
A well deserved victory. The only other piece of advice I'd give B right now is to take the concept of "begging" and other self-imposed rules and throw them out the window. It's mafia: lie, cheat, and betray people as much as you need to to get the win. You're the bad guy; you don't owe town a damn thing. Yes evil can be a pretty good strat as scum

Thanks for the game, Amiko.
That's all I feel like saying.

Actually no, I do want to say something. I was pretty sure that Superbia had already made his mind up, and seeing how he wouldn't sway d1 with the gobble vote I felt it completely useless to stay awake for another hour to try to make him change his mind. That's why I went to bed. I chose to put my own health first this time and guess what, I don't regret it.
When Superbia asked us to dive ourselves I spent 3 hours doing that. Barakos did nothing. I wonder who the town is. The one who actually tries and is willing to do legwork to show you why she is town and why things that she's done is from a towny perspective, or the person that doesn't give a shit about how you want to do the final 3 and just ends up questioning you?
I think my experience from watching a lot of videomafia, modding it and playing some is making me too annoyed playing these newbie games. I will probably take a break from forum mafia for a while. I poured my heart and soul into this game, being here even when I had a fever.
Now I'm done.

I spent my entire afternoon reading through all of your, Barakos' and lilwade's posts a multitude of times. And I made a decision. It was wrong, I'm sorry. You did put a lot of effort and emotional into what you posted, but I had a gut-feeling that you were mafia. In retrospect I would've done thing differently. For what it's worth, Jenny, I would love to play with you again. Don't let my newbie-reads keep you from being awesome in mafia.
|
You shouldn't apologize for your decisions, Superbia. Even if they were wrong. It's just a game.
|
Well, I don't even know what to say. Actually I do, but I won't say it, because reasons.. As for Jenny, I understand how you feel.A break sounds like a good plan, but please do come back. I would love to see how you play as scum one day. ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif) @Barakos, oh how I wish modkills would not have happened and we could have had a lilwade vs superbia lynch fest. Though it might not have turned exactly as you wanted.. ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif) My Coach qt is : http://www.quicktopic.com/50/H/7L8GRw4hTfK4Y
Thank you for the game Amiko!

superbia you are the one of the worst town i have ever seen
you were unimaginably wrong the whole game and I am extremely frustrated by your bad play.

Dook i dont really think thats needed. Also you thought it was me all game even in the obs QT so just chill out man.
|
To be fair, he did play horribly. I'm just hoping he's humble enough to accept that and learn from his mistakes.
|
I think that's a bit too easy to say, no? You're not going to improve by blaming a single person. Kinda disappointing, guys.

I think that people that martyr and people that get mod killed should probably keep their mouth shut.

That's absolutely uncalled for... especially coming from you, since you gave us a super easy day1 misslynch with your attitiude/manners and (in-)activity during D1/EoD1. You made your sign-in-post, saying 'somebody teach you, how not to be a shitty town'... maybe work on not getting yourself killed D1 for shitty attitude. But then again... looking at the obs-QT, I guess your answer is "lol, don't lecture me"?
Superbia may not have been right about most tells, but to be fair... Who had me as scum in any of their posts before lylo? Jenny said, she had suspicions about me but they can't be seen anywhere in the thread till D3 and Meatpudding mentioned, he wasn't too sure about me, but I guess that's it?
At least superbia tried and playing with/against him was fun, which - judging from this game and the way you've played in it - can't be said about you.
@abuse: I read your coach-QT and I must say, I'm impressed... the two of us think pretty much alike. Looking forward to play some more games with you - hopefully with a more europe-friendly deadline and no weddings interferring with the game. ![](/mirror/smilies/wink.gif)
@superbia: I find your name pretty fitting and think you are pretty self-(over-)confident. Maybe, you should work on this a little bit... Had you been humble enough, to question your opinion on Jenny and me again, when we went into lylo, I think there is a high chance for you to win this game and become town-hero but you stuck to your opinion - in my opinion, because you were to proud to admit to yourself, that you might be wrong and because you didn't want to second-guess yourself. I could be totally wrong here, but that was my impression of you. Nonetheless, I enjoyed playing vs. you. Chances are, I wouldn't like playing with you, but that's an other story. ![](/mirror/smilies/wink.gif)
On all this stuff considering playing dirty and lieing as mafia... I think the only two lies I told in this game were my two claims of being town and being bulletproof... the rest of the game was pretty "clean", I feel... I'm not really confident with lieing into peoples face, I guess, that comes with practice as scum. ^^

Eh, I do put on a mask when playing mafia. I was never sure with my reads or anything, and especially the last decision I had to make was very hard. Even though it seemed very easy. I kept going back and forth between the two of you the entire time. There's a good reason I wanted the deadline to move forward. I second-guessed myself all the way, I just never show it. :p
|
Well, then you are a pretty good actor. ^^ The only reason I always refrained from shooting you was me thinking "how can anybody be this obnoxious and full of himself without having a safety-net?"... Your cocky behaviour and all this stuff was kind of a soft-bulletproof-claim to me. Glad to see, that this was all a facade, because tbh... I found you pretty annoying. :D

Thanks! I did see you as town up until I was forced to go afk for enough to be modkilled. ![](/mirror/smilies/frown.gif) I would have been really curious to see if I would have changed my mind on you before LYLO.. I do think you made a mistake of not killing jenny earlier.. Going up against jenny in a 1x1 in this game was mission impossible. At least it should have been. She was literally sweating the letters "t o w n" after D1. Then again wade did let you down so hard, so if he wouldn't get modkilled, you would never be put into such a situation in the first place.

P.S. guys, feel free to share your coach QT's. I'm sure it would help everyone here to improve their game and decision making.
