After further review of the thread, I have come to the conclusion that Koshi is scum. As town, Koshi will enter a state of mafia depression after lynching a townie or after failing a mission. In this game it appears he entered a mafia depression after reading his role pm.

Well it was an astute observation and I think it is rather suspicious, but there's usually a pretty noticeable difference between your town and scum play so I'd prefer to lynch someone else.
