In fact I would say it is so stupid that it's even worse than someone coming up with an elaborate conspiracy that Yamato had to have bussed, because at the very least in the second case the player still leaves open the possibility of killing Yamato. In the first case it is nearly impossible to convince a player who has taken on the mentality that counter wagons have to be of opposite alignment to lynch someone like that later in the game when it is completely obvious that you have no choice left. | ||

Lecturing about how to play mafia is not alignment indicative in my opinion and it only tells you how that person should be playing. If they don't play like that they are playing against their own "rules of playing town" and they are probably scum. | ||

Sure, it makes him look townier, but that doesn't matter at all if he's going to continue to be worthless. So far Yamato has proven to be continuing his previous play despite trying to use the flip to better his own image, which is a very anti town thing to do. You don't establish yourself as a townie by calling yourself confirmed. You establish yourself as townie by finding scum. | ||
