Ohhh man I feel like I got on the poker game 15 years too late but I've been playing a bunch of 1-3 cash games at my local casino and have done pretty well... wish I had paid attention to liquid poker when that was a thing lol
I'm a tourney fan, cash game feels like a grind so I prefer to just play at special events. First time live at casino tho, usually just with friends. Anyway got knocked out place 16 today. All in QJ-Hearts vs one Q9-Spades and they got flush at the turn grr.
Problem is they're mostly regulars who know each other so you get eyed weirdly as a newcomer who plays a solid game. Though that's true for many situations I guess.
I mostly play just to pass the time on the weekends since I've been trying not to go out drinking as much, so for that reason I kinda don't mind the grind.
Over the last three months of playing, I've been stacked 3 times and each time was to a flush on the river so I feel your pain lol. And that's totally true about everyone being regulars although at this point I've gone enough that the dealers and players are starting to know me.

Since Skype somehow missed the greatest opportunity they could possibly get of becoming relevant again, would people be up for creating a TL Mafia Discord server (if there isn't one yet)? Not really interested in playing forum games but would be fun hanging out with you guys, and maybe play some voice mafia games again.
