I don't think I'd do a good job of representing us honestly, and I think its kind of silly that I'm even being considered when there are so many players who are vastly more experienced or just better than me. | ||

Ability to play in the champions game is more dependent on time than anything. I know for the first one a few other people were asked, but they couldn't play cause they didn't have the time to. After playing with him a few times it's clear that he's really good, however from the champions game you would never know cause he was only alive for 48 hours. With that said, I'm glad I was able to at least accomplish something in that game; I made a name for myself by fake claiming cop, other players aren't so lucky. Really it would probably take a few games to showcase what I'm generally known for: power stomping the mafia on day 2. That's because it would require me to be town, to not die nights 1 and 2, and to actually be right and catch the mafia, and the occurrence of these three things together is small. Sure, you might remember the games where I stomp mafia, but there are plenty of games where I die very early and there are the games where I don't stomp the mafia cause I was wrong. I am in the top 20 for most number of games played on this forum and a lot of them I played shitty. There shouldn't be a need to pick the "best" players (whatever that means) among us to go play in those games. Those games would need to be hosted with the same players multiple times before you can determine who is really the best and who isn't; one game is too small of a sample size. I would rather send someone who is excited and is willing to dedicate the time to play his or her best even if that player may not be as good as other players mentioned thus far (remember there were quite a few inactives in the game I played in). The game of champions games should not be taken seriously as proof that players A from mafia group B are better than players X from mafia group C. The competition is for fun. Rather, this should be taken as an opportunity to unite mafia players into a common front; to expand our borders and integrate with the foreign communities if you will. | ||
