I don't think it carried the same malicious intent that other stuff gets banned for. I think it was against the spirit of the game (not reading PM) and stupid (posting screenshot after death) but not malicious. I think CR was just "lololol i was really telling the truth" without thinking what that meant for the game. Much as I'm a fan of punishing stupidity, I do think 4 is kinda harsh. Say he sits out a couple - is another 1-2 on top of that really necessary to remind him that he simply can't do that? I don't really think so... Compare to say 2 of the requests on Storm - kush purposefully and knowingly getting himself banned midgame + a history of other abuses, or Corazon getting modkilled despite strong host warnings + a history of doing very similar things in previous games. I can't possibly see how these warrant less than a one-off dumb offence from an otherwise quite normal member. | ||

This falls under rules 5 and 6 in cheating from my OP: "5. Posting screenshots of your inbox, or really any screenshots of things from the game. 6. Posting or sharing any PM you receive from a host." as well as rule 1: "1. Posting after death. You may have one polite goodbye post, but it may not contain any potentially game-changing information." By revealing he had not read his Role PM via screenshot (which is cheating anyways) after he was dead, Chairman Ray demonstrated to the town that none of what he said about people was motivated by him knowing who his scumbuddy was, etc etc. And it's a freaking screenshot of his unread role PM! It was pretty damn game-changing and is basically as clear-cut as it gets. And he was dead! I cannot possibly imagine an argument that would convince me that Chairman Ray should not get a serious ban for this Yeah, this is a pretty serious violation, reading the discussion following it though, I think a three game ban is more in line with the level of maliciousness. Still breaking two of the written rules is bad -__- | ||
