An announcement
A possibility of redemption: This is a little experiment I want to try, if you have been banned for behavioral reasons (not rule breaking, not inactivity, but behavioral reasons), you may apply to have a "probation" game. This means that, if the host agrees, you will be allowed to be in his game and play on your best behavior. When the game is over, KadaverBB or one other member of the mod staff (not me) will read your filter and determine if you played in a manner befitting the rules of TL. (Which, yes, are stricter than the rules of the mafia forum), if you are deemed to have behaved appropriately, the game will count as a sitout and I will remove one game from your count if you have any left. If you have not, you will get an appropriate tl ban (ranging from 2 days to 30, depending), the game will not count as a sit out and you'll be dissalowed from further probationary games.
For now, this is an experimental thing we're trying, so if you want to get in on it, now is the time.

Im interested in being a beta tester for this but Im short on behavioral modkills at the moment and pretty strapped for time. Can I just sling some shit around in the banlist untill you 2day me and we work something out from there?

Hey GMarsh, when are we grabbing a beer?

probation thing seems overly complicated, unnecessary, and time consuming

I like the probation idea, though it seems like it could be weird if some players have stricter behavioral rules on them than others. But maybe this isn't really an issue - if a player has an abrasive style that might be inappropriate under TL rules but not Mafia rules, that player should probably just /sitout as normally instead of doing the probation thing.

Why not do this for inactivity too?

I'll take my 4 game ban
Was under the impression that the posting inbox rule was meant for people using it to prove their night action pms. Didn't occur to me that proving whether or not I read my role pm was an issue since everybody in that game took my word for it and there wasn't any question otherwise.

I was sure you were lying and trying to distance yourself from rayn at the end of the cycle. I obviously changed my mind later in the game but still.

You only got 3 games.
Hopefully the last one you can play under prohibation.

Bans for Showdown Mafia:
This was what everyone agreed to when they signed up for my game.
Activity: There are no activity requirements for this game. If I determine at the end of this game that you did not put in adequate effort towards fulfilling your win condition, I will request a ban.
1-game ban for sinani206 - zero effort put into this game 1-game ban for fuba - almost no effort. didn't post at all for 96 hours.

Why are those guys getting a ban and yamato isn't for example? Seems kinda unfair.

I considered marvellosity/yamato, however lurking and being useless is a viable way to play as mafia, just not a very good one.

I was expecting more because I posted after a duel was called (particularly after it had already happened twice before).
