Last time apparently my sitout in Hogwarts didn't count, so... if there's something else I need to do to make it count beyond posting /sitout in Shadow and posting here let me know. | ||

1) PM the host saying you're /sitouting a game 2) post here that you're /sitouting a game I assume the step 2 is just so there's something publically verifiable that a /sitout happened. When someone /sitouts my game I'll just post here when they PM me so GM knows things are squared away | ||

YMMV. TLDR: Me; Going in circles. Not quite sure that it would normally follow that people that _I_ wont let play in my game cant sit it out. I do see that you cant sitout a newbie, if your not one, and if i ran a game of sheep (a non mafia game on diff site) you couldn't sit out mafia on that. HOWEVER If the sitout is to act as a deterrent + Show Spoiler + (then people people who need deterring should just buy a mirror and use it) then the people sitting out must sitout something they value.(a game they could play) If people know in advance there are no games coming they are not host banned from then they can act less deterred. In normal situations that really shouldn't matter (see spoiler above) So yeah it is possible that as a host I might say to player nope, I wont even accept a sitout. I'd have to be pretty damn serious about it, but that is me. | ||
