Do you think he's strapped for time and town or a scummer getting by due to the relative inactivity.

There was a bit of misunderstanding with the cases he choice. But explained it fine. I'm null on stutters atm. I can and will OMGUS scum have a great attraction to trying to lynch me. So i will use it against them. Also remember Layabout was the first person to pressure me as scum. But I think the way S0lstice sheeped it and the way he went at makes him scummy. | ||

His reply was this: Town motivation was literally asking questions of people to try and divine their alignment. Knowing how both JJD and Vayne played scum last game, I was curious if their answers towards my questions would help me figure out anything about the way they would be playing this game. If you choose to ignore this point then that's your prerogative. As far as new things brought, I brought plenty of new things to the table, including the suspicion and discussion towards me. Any discussion is good discussion on D1 even if the subject is somewhat misguided; it will allow people to get reads of me, with which I am fine. I consider my own townplay perfectly good and accomplishing exactly what I have set out to do, whilst being completely transparent in my thought processes in the meantime. Basically he's saying that by accusing him it stirs up discussion. But why? If attention is on him, as town it's crappy play because it distracts others from finding scum, and as scum he can WIFOM his way to finding a different lynch target. I don't think perfectly good townplay involves painting yourself red to see who comes out of the woodwork. This is where Zeph comes in to push WoS's intentions and WoS retorts that it's scummy to lynch him after he's explained his motivations. I find his motivations scummy however, hence I want to lynch him. Of course, WoS, I would be more than happy to see some of your scumreads and a FOS if it is too early to place a vote on someone. | ||

I would probably lynch him currently. He's not this inactive usually and it worries me. At this rate we're going to excuse half the thread for lurking and I'd rather not lynch into people who are here to read. I guess that applies to everyone though, I fucking hate day 1 | ||

The intent wasn't to make people accuse me or 'paint myself red' but at least in saying what I did it generated discussion. I found what Zeph said scummy in that he continued to accuse me before reading my latest explanation; if you'd read our exchange you would have already read that. I don't have any particularly strong scumreads and I don't usually on D1, so if by leaving your vote on me you think it will pressure me to do so or you will lynch a scum I regret to inform you that you are wrong on both counts. The only person I find particularly scummy atm is jaybrundage however I have been informed that he is 'lynchbait' and as such we should just give him a free pass. Who am I to argue with better players such as Vivax? | ||

Yes some people have given excuses which prolly are true. But regardless if we dont set a precedent of being an active town. Lurking is gonna kill us. And i would prefer to nail it in peoples heads that we can not and will not allow hardcore lurking. I would not be surprised at all if half if not more of the mafia are lurking atm. Also do you wanna lynch S0lstice with meh? | ||

I'm not too keen on a scum s0l currently. The points you and Vivax made make sense but his most recent post gives me pause. He called out Vivax's dismissal of my Prplhz case almost exactly how I would have but at the same time in that post he doesn't actually comment on it, just that he'd check out the meta later, which still hasn't happened. Would really like to hear his side soon. More to come | ||

And my point regarding vayne is simply that his perspective on the game is different than my own. His comment really stuck out to me, because I saw no reason to change my playstyle based on this setup. I have yet to decide if that's simply because he's a different player, or if it's because he's playing for a different team. If you're looking for me to call someone scum D1, it's unlikely going to happen. @jaybrundage: If you see me as possibly scum for what I've said, what do you think about vayne himself? His contributions consist of: a very thorough response to a nonsense question, saying he doesn't like meta, pointing out that I questioned him, and then saying I'm on his radar. I actually see little to distinguish his play from mine aside from post count. "I like to to call that illusionary participation unless thats common for him or something" | ||

Who I want to lynch: [UoN]Sentinel I think his approach to Ace's claim post was skewed. Why bother pointing out that the plan is not as gamebreaking as it initially seemed? He questions the plan, but doesn't offer up why it is detrimental to agree to it, nor does he offer a better plan as an alternative. Seems more likely an approach scum would take rather than town. He voting for WoS is weak. 1) WoS wants to lynch a lurker. Sentinel is a lurker so he doesn't like this. Nothing here that indicates WoS is scum. 2) WoS doesn't ask people if he is scummy, he asks a couple of players who recently played scum with him what their opinion of his play is. 3) It is a very uninvested vote. He doesn't express a desire to get WoS lynched (only provides explanation for the sake of himself, not to convince others to vote him), and neglects to talk about any other suspects. ##Vote: [UoN]Sentinel jaybrundage With regards to jay, I don't see the issue.
