Obviously if you got a town pm you know you are town and therefore there is town in the game. SnB is town due to a slip outside of game which I therefore cannot cite. He and I and other people with no sanity know what I mean. Kita is probably town because he is willing to 1for1 trade in lynches and that is great for town and shit for scum. its early though and Kita knows that is a townie thing to say so he might be doing it on purpose. Pretty townie but no confirmation.

Acro, look at a non-sanity question which Mason asked igrok at a certain time. I doubt he'd have asked said question were he scum since it was so...public and it seems unlikely that a scumMason would be comfortable asking that in the public sphere.

I think a scum wouldn't have asked that question in public, it took me a little while to figure out that my PM wasn't just a simple VT pm but only an alignment PM. I think if SnB had received a scum pm he would ask iGrok in private about the possibility of his role. Scum hide those things since they aren't sure what they know vs what town knows.

Hrmmmm, maybe. I only read my pm after iGrok had already clarified that, and I had read the clarification, so I'm not sure what my mindset would have been had I read it before the clarification.
I guess that on general principle you're right that it's scary to ask about role pms in public as scum. Especially in a closed setup. And SnB tends to be cautious as scum.
