You were Mafia, and suddenly a switch snapped and you were foaming out of the mouth that Mr.Cheesecake was scum beyond all rationality.

I'm really sorry I took so long in answering this, I really could not look at a filter for a minute without getting a massive headache. If I had to choose between Acro and Yamato to lynch, I would choose Yamato because overall Acro's posts and activity have been more town-oriented (besides the fact that he spent so much time worrying about Adam being 3P. I felt like it was a possibility but thought otherwise when I actually put my brain to it). Yamato has been a bit more erratic in his posting: His posts are more one-liners (but I expect that's his style) and he hasn't done as much of a job fueling the discussion as Acro has. The recent point that has me worried about Yamato is this exchange right here: On March 03 2013 04:14 yamato77 wrote: Lol, have two townies duel and double lynch them This is hilarious. You guys kill my motivation to play. On March 03 2013 04:15 Oatsmaster wrote: So you dont think Acro is scum? Then why did you go all crazy last night about wanting to duel him at the crack of dawn? Seriously Yamato, what are you doing? On March 03 2013 04:20 yamato77 wrote: No, I just don't randomly duel people out of nowhere. But whatever, tomorrow at dawn I will duel Hapa and we can lynch mafia. You guys are silly and think I'm mafia, so I'll duel someone and you can lynch me if it pleases you. I'm getting tired of arguing with people anyway. He literally just said that he wanted Acro dead and now he has randomly decided to flip towards Hapa. Where is the thought process in this? When pressured by Oats, he just shrugs it off and yells at people for arguing with him. He then goes on to post an unnecessarily long post about how Snarfs is town. I don't get that. That really looks like he is trying to look like he is scumhunting when in reality he is just making showy posts about how Snarfs is town (That post could've been summed up in like 4 sentences. We didn't need all of the quotes and the whole long post). His scumhunting has been all over the place. The fact that he is going "Acro is mafia, Hapa is mafia, Zare is mafia" does not make any sense to me. He's just wandering around trying to look like he is scum hunting, and that is scummy in itself. I'm still confused about his read on Acro but I want to see Yamato in a duel so we can get his "real scum reads" from him. I hope they're better than "Dieno and Kei"... I'm sorry if it's hard to read, still need to put myself together.

While lurky and useless is Syl's town meta, it is not Dieno's so he can die. As a side note I'm pretty sure Hapa is mafia, now, and much less sure of Acro. And we've still heard nothing substantial on the subject. In addition, his whole "I'MMA GOIN TO DUEL HAPA" stance is absurd given how he was attacking Adam for much the same behavior earlier in the game. He nearly lynched Adam for Adam's rushed duel, has been extolling patience as a virtue when dueling, and all of a sudden wants blood. This lack of patience was also something he did in British Mini Mafia (as Mafia), where he talked up being patient in policy-talk (regarding hammers in instant-lynch majority games), then rushed a hammer against a townie on Day 1. Combine all of this with Thrawn's post last night... http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=398360¤tpage=89#1780 ... and Yamato has a pretty good chance of flipping scum. Gonna look into Zapa/Acro, and re-look into Snarfs.

As for Cora, I talked about him last night no? I just can't see Mafia taking such a controversial stance with the town on the Dieno/Syl duel. It seems pretty clear that Dieno was bussed, and unless Cora didn't get the memo, he's probably town.

How can you say your read hasn't changed? Yeah I wanted Syl dead, then was away from the thread for half a day. I came back, caught up, and found myself agreeing with Adam. Though by that point, the hammer already dropped.

However, I have a hard time seeing Hapa as scum. He's not playing well, but if he's scum he's playing terribly. He has done the most illogical things that don't help a scum agenda at all. His radical stance change on Iamp seemed scummy at the time, but honestly I see no reason for a scum Hapa to suddenly throw the towel in the ring based on that post. He calls Dieno's opening post a wishy washy newbie post, not scummy (although he nails Dieno to the cross for his follow-ups). Same benefit-of-the-doubt I wanted to give to Dieno. He is hard on Keir's case and doesn't lay off due to Adam going all crazy harry. His reads on N2 resonate strongly with my thoughts at the time. Sure, every now and then he throws a completely inane curveball, like the thrawn case. But is there a scum motivation there? Why go after thrawn? Probably one of the hardest targets to go after. He could try to get suspicion on Oats, Yamato or myself... yet doesn't. It just doesn't add up.

-duel party (i'm srs) -plurality vote that cuts off x hrs before real deadline. winner (loser) picks who to duel. my personal favorite is #2. There seems to be many more lynch candidates than we've previously had so I think voting to select the main candidate is a good idea. they get to duel who they wish. it really wouldn't be that hard to implement as long as votecounts get done.
