My favourite comment though was when one of you brought up our amount of posting in ACME. I've been yelling about how awesome your activity is over there. You guys are great, just so you know I hope everyone of you sticks with mafia and comes to play in the big leagues. We need more people who play hard and are hugely active. I'll leave the post game anal(lol)ysis to Marv but I just wanted to thank you all for getting into the game in a big way. You are what I wish everyone was. | ||

Souel Gardien Hostel was terrible in comparison to yours... I was hoping that daoud would not catch it at first glance. @ Clarity The extra info was the fact that we blue did not know about the VT flavor until Cheese claim where we received a PM from marv. Fortunately for me, I was catching up at that time, so I couldn't do the kind of mistake that you did. So I knew you could not be blue at all when you were saying that you asked your question to marv when you noticed that the VT flavor was different in the OP and in your PM. I was already suspicious of you and the hints you were giving for a blue Clarity felt very wrong for me. I knew I could confirm you as scum if you claimed and I think I would have backed off a little if you were admitting to be a VT. | ||

btw, it was painfully obvious Cheese was town, dunno how nobody got to that, for how much XXIX was mentioned... €: I also identified debears as town pretty fast, funny how a single buttbuddy game does that for you Hosts are still scumbags for not giving me obs QT! Well, thrawn is. I only breadcrumbed my needs to marv instead of claiming them, so he's semi-excused. I just didn't bother explaining in the end, cause the game was over, so I stopped paying attention anyways.  | ||

First things first, excuses! I was getting ill on saturday, and sunday I was feeling like crap. Djo asked me to comment on him and I just wanted to go to bed, and I slept from 1-6. Anyway, happens, I still learned a lot and I hope you guys did too! Djo, I think your intuition is amazing. You did however (in my eyes at least) overdo it when it came to pushing me. I don't agree with the fact that because my defense was logical instead of emotional it makes me more scummy, but maybe I'm wrong. But you went on for too long, your argument actually didn't make sense even more, even from my perspective as scum, and I think a better player than me might have talked the town into lynching you. I feel I was doing a good job discrediting you but it's hard to argue with your JK claim. I feel bad for taking advantage of the Cheese VT flavor claim. I hope no one looks down at me for doing this, I was cornered and about to be lynched. Rad didn't give me the idea of me having pmed marv btw. I had that in mind when I said "I can do that too. I don't wanna pay for no porn man. Doesn't mean anything" My original idea behind it however, was that the logical conclusion was that I would be blue. Of course I couldn't predict marv would come down from heaven, but maybe if I had more time I would have. I might play more TL mafia games in the future, but going to take a break for now. I'm serious about it being pretty life consuming for me, and I don't think I could come across as nearly as town as I guess I did without keeping up to date with every single thing that happens and remembering it all so I can make good statements on the fly. I'll obs some cause then I can play but not play, and maybe see people's thought processes for determining alignment. I'd be interested in some faster games I think, though not sure how they'd play out properly that guessing alignment wasn't just a complete coin flip. I wonder how the game would have played out if VTs knew that everyone else knew from the start (well, and if blues did know from the start as well, since apparently they didn't until a certain point, and what I got from marv was that they did know). The bit about blues not knowing the VT flavor until later is interesting though and now I know why you guys were both 100% confirmed to each other, and why you were so sure clarity was scum. I can see why my VT case wasn't quite as strong due to that fact also. I truly did only defend clarity against things that if directed at me, were straight up wrong, (VT would do this, VT wouldn't do this, etc) and I think the game goes a lot differently without those arguments ever existing (for one, I wouldn't have spent an entire day wasting my time defending a scum). I'm most impressed with Obzy I think. I had the idea running through my head that you were TOO good with your assessments and ability to "look town" to be newbie town. You had to be scum and your skill had to be coming from close interactions with your scum coach. I remembered last in the scum QT the coach talked a looottt so I was thinking... obzy posts very infrequently, they're very thought out posts, and he's convinced everyone with a pity case that will probably never be broken. Scum! I think sylver could have convinced me of obzy or da0ud being scum lol. I'm so bad. If clarity had just claimed VT instead of blue, I'd have defended him to his death XD Ok anyway, GG. | ||

I'm finding it hard to find the confidence in believing his[Clarity's] lynch will flip red, mostly because of how difficult it has been to actually make a convincing argument that he is. About the only "sure" tell that I have is his reaction to the whole VT claim ordeal and that's only because I know for a fact he's not blue, he could still be telling the truth about "finding out" and just be an overzealous VT trying to protect the blue players through not claiming. Comparatively, I could make a Rad or Obzy scum case in my sleep. Or even da0ud, possibly, but I'm not 100% sure on that. I don't actually know if I was entirely right on that last point, because I never actually tried to make a case against either of them. But I found it really hard to find convincing evidence against you other than the Cheese incident™. | ||

At some point during D1 when I was reading the thread while Rad and debears had their pissing contest about the fluff or not fluff ordeal, I thought that I should be looking about the players that I didn't notice. And that how I found Clarity ^^ Hapa encouraged me to have this mindset so I thought I was on the good tracks. | ||

In that same PM to Hapa I just quoted I rambled on about my role probably being useless even if I didn't claim(because I figured I'd look scummy and Djod or an actual scum would block me if I didn't claim) so I was expecting having to claim if people stopped suspecting you and started figuring that I was scum for some reason. | ||

I feel like Clarity has been coming off as very townie in his responses lately. The one thing I find weird is that he picked up the VT PM discrepancy and PMd marv about it. I would never ever have: 1. Picked up on that 2. Wondered if scum had gotten the VT PM 3. Realized there was a risk of fake claim by scum if that was the case To me it still seems more likely that he poked hole in Cheese's claim because he was scum and thus knew scum had that same info. That's why I sympathize with Djo's case. But I do lean Sylv + Rad. We obviously have proof that VT Cake reached step 1 in that thought process, but didn't go to 2 or 3. Occam's razor would say that it's more likely Clarity is scum. It's the easy explanation. My feeling is he's townie. Cliffs: Always go with occam. | ||

I think that if you were really sick you should totally have used it as an excuse. The best way to play scum is to use your own emotions to look sincere in your posting and in the story you are telling everybody about (it is always the story of this bad town player with awful reads). In newbies, people tend to get very emotional Obzy "defeated" post was just the best way for him to look town. You could also feel his relief after that when people trusted him more. First game is always very frustrating ^^ | ||

Yeah, Rad didn't say Debears was town at the time he voted for him, but he seemed like scum getting his story mixed up. I thought Alsn's questioning of Rad was him being on the right track, but I was wrong. Rad did some townie stuff as well, but I disagree he established himself as town. N1+ he was the only townie not being clear townie imo. | ||
