What was important to these men was not Pokemon, or My Little Pony, or Portal. Not even religion or wars were really important to these paragons of masculinity. No; the true importance in the world was... pornography. For years now, free and amateur porn sites were flourishing across the web. No longer did the average punter need to pay to satisfy his primal urges... until recently. The paid porn industry, upset at their loss of revenue from video, dvd or even paid internet sites, had started to wage a war upon free porn, shutting down sites through hacks, legal injunctions, or any means necessary. Free porn was under great threat, and seven men stood at the forefront of the battle to protect it. However, two wily operatives from the porn industry have infiltrated their circle and seek to destroy it from within. Will the free porn advocates weed out the infiltrators, or will the porn industry get their wish and make porn an exclusively fee-paying industry once again? Tune in next week, same bat-time, same bat-channel, to find out... ...Meanwhile... debears had invited Mr. Cheesecake over to watch some interesting new Japanese porn. It was typically odd. There were two beautiful, giggly Japanese ladies. First, one of them would rub ice cubes over the other girl's bazookas for quite some time, really firming them up. Then, mysteriously, she would take some eggs and crack them on the newly hardened cajoongas. Then the raw egg would be distributed in an apparently sexy fashion all over the woman's body. And... well, you'll have to watch it for yourself to find out what happens next. "aww yeah, that's so hot," said debears, fapping away. "yeah, totally man," said Mr. Cheesecake, panting a little. Out of the corner of his eye, though, Mr. Cheesecake had spotted a slice of strawberry cheesecake randomly sitting on a table. Why it was there, no-one knows. "mmmmmmmm" he said, eyeing it up, licking his lips. "yeah I know man," said debears. "Look at what that girl is doing now!" "huh, what?" said Mr. Cheesecake. "You're not even watching, you're eyeing up that fucking cheesecake!" "well, ya know dude, fapping with another dude is kinda gay..." "Fuck you man," said debears. "Get the fuck out my house!" So, pants round his ankles, Mr. Cheesecake shuffled out debears' house, but not before grabbing the cheesecake on the table first. He could enjoy that later. It is now Day 1. Flavour is just flavour. You have about 48 hours to decide the lynch. | ||

Yet again, i want to know if you will be here for lynch. I should be here, but sometimes my schedule changes due to sports If I'm not here for lynch, its irl conflicts 99% of the time. Don't pull an Alsn Anyways, my policy for this game is changing slightly. I am going to strongly consider lynching lurkers for a few reasons 1) there are only 9 players. The thread will be a lot lwss cluttered so you should be able to catch up quickly 2) this is a mafia favored setup. The game will be quick. There should only be 2 mafia, so less association reads can be made late game 3) we have no vig, and thus no way to handle lurkers besides the lynch | ||

In regards to lynching lurkers -- after last game, totally in favor. Unless I get myself a juicy scumread in the next 48 hours, I will likely be putting my vote on the most suspicious lurker. Roco-esque plays will not be tolerated. | ||

Would you consider lynching a lurker over an ok scumread for d1? Considering the setup, a lurker lynch d1 might possibly be better for us since we can get reads on everyone else later in a smaller game | ||

I normally won't be here exactly at lynch assuming it's 5PM PST, I'm at work on weekdays then - most of my reading and responses will be done after work. (Not all, because I'm apparently a horrible employee, but - most. Anything within about 16 hours of the lynch on non-weekends is sorta chancy and depends on schedule.) Lurking does sound sort of bad in this setup, not like it is ever a good thing. Last game, there were a couple of days where Alsn talked to himself in circles (with jogger and scumteam hopping in occasionally) for what felt like an eternity; that probably isn't ideal for trying to come to conclusions? Probably? debears - How is it mafia favored? I was reading a little earlier on the mafiascum wiki [because of how fucking pumped I am for this] and saw that this is sorta similar (if not equal to) C9+2 setup... which was imbalanced I guess compared to C9 which is more like 5v2? Why is it worse to have more townies? >_>;; Am I missing something here? | ||

Prior games include XXV(VT), XXVIII(VT) and XXIX also as VT. And yea, if given the choice between weak scum reads and hardcore lurkers, I'll hunt down and feed the hardcore lurker gone off cheesecake first chance I get. That being said, I'm off to lurk(also known as sleep, for those of you concerned with base things such as human metabolic function). | ||

Its mafia favored compared to the last setup. Only 9 players means a quicker game. A quicker game is better foe mafia since they don't have to fake their townieness for so long. Also look at the roles like medic. Medic can't target the same person twice (was it also that he can't target himself? I'm on my phone and i really don't want to check | ||

Glad to be doing this again, and really happy that it's a lot of the same players. Lynch lurkers. Let's get that straight this time. (as a note, if there's a clear scum, obviously we lynch them over an unknown lurker, but I do not intend to go for another so-so lynch over a lurker again) Don't lurk, thanks!  I don't think we'll have any problems with that this time though, considering the players. We've all learned our lesson on this topic I think. I should typically be able to be active for a few hours before lynches with the time bumped back an hour from the last game's time. I will be pretty active this weekend, but I'm also a huge sc2 fan and mlg will be taking most of my attention. Definitely going to be reading/thinking/posting on downtime and/or boring matchups. | ||

I think there's a much smaller chance of there being lurkers this game though. Can't pass up a good read though, but if you want to lynch a super active person because of an "ok" read I'd be hard pressed if there is a super-lurker. | ||

Lurkers will be receiving my boot firmly shoved up their anus D1. Someone who posts twice during D1 with a poorly-explained vote is not someone I want around for the consecutive days. Unless I've caught someone with their pants down I'm down for lynching a suspicious lurker. This is all speculative, though. Have to see how active everyone is. | ||

With the player list that we have, I don't think we to need to use an anti-lurker policy this time. Nevertheless, the last game is still a great trauma for me, so I'm going to get a little wary if your expected activity level is not matched. Regarding last game, I think we made a poor use of the plurality lynch system. I started an argument with sylver about this the last game and he shut me down because he thought I was mafia. I only missed the last one cuz you said you would unvote my scum teammate if i didn't come back. So that's 90%. Not a lie. I was there only 45 minutes before the lynch, after u said that you weren't voting dandel if i was afk l. If you didn't say that, i wouldve come back. If fact, for mafia it is usually dumb to not be active around lynch due to the suspicion it causes and the lack of control ot gives the scumteam FOS Alsn for real. You know better than to call me a liar like that especially when 1) its an exaggeration if anything and not a lie and 2) when being afk around lynch is usually bad for scum | ||
