SAT scores are what colleges care about. But there's a lot to be said about studying like a try-hard. It's a good mindset to have if you're aiming for high SAT scores the year after (which will actually matter for admissions). Either way, best of luck! School before mafia. Keep your priorities straight ![]() /obs btw

Even then I still had enough brownie points to get accepted into a good college but once again I took the lazy route and finished my first two semesters with a .27 gpa. So yes, doing good on psat/sat does help you get into a good school, and getting into a good school does help you. What hurts you is being lazy and not doing your work which is something that people unfortunately don't learn until it's too late.

By the time I was doing my SATs I gave not a single fuck. I was drunk the day of my ACTs and blacked out during the essay portion. Still got into a good college and even during my slacker days only managed to drop myself to a 2.3 gps. I think Marv and I will Hydra for this game.

Not unless they are comparing you with someone who is exactly the same as you in all the other respects. I did shit all in high school and for some reason (I don't get it at all) got scholarships to Ivy league schools. They clearly give no shits as long as you seem smart on paper. Oh, realized none of my posts make sense with my country. i was born in the states, moved to Canada for school.

What colleges really like is for you to have a hook. That is an interest you feel passionately about and pursue intensely, rather than being all over the place with your extra curriculars. GRush go to state school believe me.

We'll see how this turns out with my schedule lol Psh don't worry too much about what college you go to. Worry about just making good grades in high school then being at the high end of your class in college. Most colleges are the same unless you are specializing in a profession (Medicine, Lawyer, *Engineer ![]() I got some pretty good school offers and declined them. My psats were shit then flopped a good score on the ACT. Currently I'm at a small d1 and it's the same stuff my friends are going over. I went to JUCO my first two years and still dominate anyone in my classes here. Also, don't due stuff for the sake of being well rounded. Do it for you, for fun. For instance, cite TL Mafia as a hobbie of yours, and explain the intuitive thinking and analysis required to play well
