You may argue that town Archrun actually believes that exactly one of Trhawn or Shady is scum, but I have hard time accepting this because he leaves out one possibility that they are both town. | ||

I still believe that Thrawn would be a mislynch. Too much of his play has a townie feel to me. As for Shady... so much of his evidence against Thrawn feels so inadequate and contrived to me... Unfortunately, I'm now at a point where I have to decide between switching to someone I've made it clear I feel is town, and keeping my vote on someone who has tunneled that person for most of the game. I am keeping my vote on Shady. | ||

No. I said that the justification for HIS town read was marginal and I could definitely see a scum motivation behind his actions. Using third party posts to justify these town reads. Then defending the town reads you each have on one another. | ||

Ever since the killings took place, HiroPro has been on pins and needles. He's a nervous wreck, and after a long day of searching for the bad guys, he decides to stop in at the Liquid Saloon for a drink or ten. Everyone in the bar turns to look at him as he walks in and sits at the bar. "What's up with everyone today, barkeep?" "None 'a my business, boy. Now what'll ya be havin'?" All of the stares were really bothering HiroPro, but the longer he sat there drinking, the better he felt. He started easing up a bit, and slid his gun holster off and set it on the bar when his next drink came. "Hey Barkeep, I've gotta hit the pisser. Keep an eye on this for me, will ya?" "Sure boy, no problem." As HiroPro headed back to his seat, he noticed that he wasn't alone now. SolarSail was sitting on the stool next to him, and he looked like he was ready for a brawl. "Howdy SolarSail, how are ya today? Crazy mess, these killings, eh?" "Enough with the crap, son. I'm in no mood for chitchat today. You see, we've been doing some digging, and we think you are one of those responsible for the killings." "BULLSHIT!" "Don't take that tone with me, boy!" Tensions are really running hot, and everyone in the bar is staring. "Not in here, fellas" says the bartender. "I just had to replace half of those tables after the last fight." "This is crazy! I wasn't responsible for those killings! You defile my name! I challenge you to a duel!" yells HiroPro. "I figured you would. Very well, with Liquidia as our witness, we shall duel for your honour." As they head outside, everyone in the bar follows. The tension in the air is palpable. "So that's why they were all staring. They had already condemned me to die. Those drinks were my 'last meal'," thinks HiroPro as he gets ready for the duel. *What they don't know is that I'm the fastest gun in these parts. I could win this with my hands tied behind my back and blind folded. I WILL reclaim my honour." They stand back to back, and on the count of three they start pacing. 1 step...2...5...10...20 HiroPro turns and draws his weapon. "Damn he's slow. He hasn't even turned yet!" HiroPro thinks as he lines up his shot. He pulls the trigger. Click. "What the.....?" His heart falls through the floor, as he realizes what's happening. He pops open the chamber on his pistol; completely empty. "You didn't really think I would give you the chance to kill me too, did you?" calls SolarSail. "This isn't a fight, this is an execution." He slowly raises his gun, and fires off a single round. HiroPro didn't stand a chance. He dropped to the ground where he stood, never to move again. The history repeats itself, and it almost repeated itself today... if we could have lynched Archrun. This exact same style of posting and motivation happened in my previous game, where the scum was trying to benefit from a mislynch in me. I referenced the filter consisting of this scum player from the earlier game earlier. But here it is again: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=351398&user=263567¤tpage=2 In that game, we were able to switch our lynch last minute from me to this scum player. In this game we came short, but at least it strengthens my read. And this also means that Thrawn is town. Because Archrun was indeed counting on Thrawn's mislynch AND THEN Shady's mislynch. I believe both of these players to be town. | ||
