This is one of the few things you have said that I agree with. We should stay civil, adding name calling to everything else just obscures what we need to do which is find scum. It just adds emotion. Yeah, Marv is half of WBG with Toad. Though I don't know if he has actually posted yet. | ||

But Looking back through the thread he's been hounded as suspicious since day 1. For no real concrete reason a lot of assumptions here. I think it should be pointed out that grey probably has the most powerful deck. A lot of us realized that and jumped on the lunch grey bandwagon me included. So is this out of fear and are we being manipulated by scum? The question is if we kill grey and he flips town. Do we actually have any targets. Do we learn anything. All we have is zeal who was lurking day 1 and has suddenly become very active. Thoughts everyone? | ||

Or rather, if these town beasts are going to be town controlled, we should have a vote tomorrow (during the main phase) for who they attack. We should do this during the main phase so that we know who the mafia monster attacks and can use that information. Thoughts on the idea of having a vote? The point of the "town beasts" was that they would be "town controlled," not controlled just by the judgement of oby and nova. As I said before I think that a vote is key because otherwise if either nova or oby is scum they will be able to wiggle out of attacking their partner by talking about "town sentiment" and cherry picking people who agree with them. | ||

You know, there's the chance you are town and legitimately think Zealos is scum while Greymist not so much, but dude "protecting" Greymist like that doesn't make you look good at all (in my eyes). Grey is not acting townie at all, in fact he reminds me of how Palmar plays as scum when he's found out (disappear, post sporadically if not at all, and "sacrificing" himself posting things like "once I flip town please look into X" and stuff like that) S&B, I agree about the vote.....although to be honest I changed my mind about it (not that much): I'll let these people control my beast with their vote: -WBG -Nova -Promethelax -Fulla -Mattchew So if those people put "##Vote: X" then I'll follow those, but I won't take into account votes from you, Grey or Zealos (Zealos just in case). Of course that's if this "voting system" is implemented at all; if it's not I'll still take the opinion of those into account (the opinion of WBG/Prome/Nova more since I'm more sure they are town than Fulla/Mattchew). | ||

From a mafia perspective, it's so easy to make that statement if people are after you anyway, what do you have to lose? However, from a townie point of view, if you were convinced someone was mafia, you would convince the rest of town, instead of letting yourself get killed first. Also bear in mind, him dying literally means nothing in the argument as to whether or not I am mafia, and a town player would know that. | ||

Do you realize how scummy it looks to say "hey guys this power isn't a threat because it'll be controlled by town" and then say "except I'm not going to listen to people who disagree with me?" You listening to people who disagree with you is the only check on the power you persuaded town to give you and nova. I mean it's not like it would make much of a difference. I would vote for zealos and he would presumably vote for me, and greymist would vote for trololol at this point. But this is why I wish Marv would show up. I could really use someone who is relatively neutral and who has enough self confidence to stand up to you to tell me if he thinks you are town or if you're doing the same thing as in liar game. | ||
