I love playing and playing against decks like Combo Elves or Ux Control. In both cases, figuring out when to "go for it" is such a challenging but fun assessment. You have the raw probabilities given decklists, you condition on your opponent's behavior, you can extrapolate from the local metagame, but ultimately you just have to commit, yes or no. Needless to say, when you're right, it's awesome. | ||

I played A LOT of magic back in the days but haven't played for at least 2 years now. No competitive games, just with friends for fun but it should be enough to play the game. If someone wants to hydra I'd be happy to join forces with someone else for hilarity reasons or if someone isn't feeling comfortable to play on his own because he doesn't know the game. I'm probably going to make a joke deck so and force Artanis to balance it so that I'm not completly weak :p Do I have to pm you right now? If I am going to hydra with someone I'm not going to decide about the deck on my own and would like to talk about it with my partner first. If noone is willing to play with me (it's waaaay more fun to play with 2 guys, no matter how much you hate me!) I could instantly send you my deck. ///Edit: Marv is going to hydra with me!
