I agree that it would be good to have an emperor how gets the job done. However, considering Carolus' posting up to that point it seemed to me that he would just end up people whom he didn't like instead of those that logically seemed like mafia. I felt he may get the job of lynching people done but would have lynched the wrong people. This idea stemmed from these quotes: Caller games aren't usually this obnoxious. The reason being they usually don't have people like you playing. Can you cut down the spam, the gimmicks and start actually playing the game. The game still has rules, the most important one being play to win. You are ruining the game. I'm hostile because you are making things more difficult and not very fun for me. Feel free to read previous caller games to see if they were full of people like you. What possibly gave you the idea that this ruining the game by spamming/trolling/hiding behind gimmicks would be fine? Do you seriously think people will find your gimmick amusing for however long you survive or the game lasts? If you are town, you should drop it, or at least minimize it. Though I do agree that the posting styles of the players he was referring to were annoying, I felt he was letting his emotions get the best of him. This feeling has been accentuated as the game went on as we can see that p-body and Dog have been contributing though in a rather odd form. I wanted to vote for a Caesar, not a Caligula. Your second accusation is that I asked for reads but didn't give any. This is not true as I just commented that reads could be made regardless of the day. I never asked for people to make reads. On the last point; Hassy had a platform, actually wanted to be empress, and from the spreadsheet looked bound to win. A vote for him made the most sense. Carolus didn't even run for empress yet for some reason had votes. A large part of the suspicion of me comes from the fact that my reasons for voting weren't very fleshed out. But really, how many of the people accusing me for that had a great case on why they voted for who they did? It was essentially "this guy seems like town, I'll vote for him". I suspected neither Hassy nor Carolus so I voted for the one with the platform. Some may claim that I voted for Acro and Hassy as they as well as myself are scum, but, looking at the spreadsheet of votes, obviously a lot of people agree with me on them being town. It seems unlikely that scum would have truthfully publicly proclaimed their votes so we can see that I , along with numerous others, genuinely believed that Acro and Hassy were town and therefore voted for them. | ||
