Anyhow, my analysis of his post indicates that it is a post both townie Radfield AND mafia Radfield would make. I would like to warn people not to jump to conclusions like that. They may be strong players, but that indicates nothing about their alignment. My take on the election issue would be to elect the strong players for day 1. Arc has a more than barebones campaign and also more posts than the rest of the vets who have stepped forward, so the rest need to step it up. | ||

Are the elections on later days for different positions, other than mayor or pardoner? I'd assume mayor and pardoner are roles that once elected to you keep for the entire game, is this correct? Professor Badass needs to post some more if they want to be an actual candidate for mayor. Low effort campaigns are scum campaigns. Hi Sheth! Anyway, I agree that elections should really be locked down as fast as possible, and on Radfield/Arctocod/ProfessorBadass. I don't particularly care too much who we elect among those though I'll strongly recommend Arctocod because that hydra is the best townie in the game, but I'll vote for any of these if it will keep anybody else out of office. @GreYMisT I personally don't see anything wrong with Radfield endorsing Arctocod in his very own campaign post. Radfield knows that it will be a lot easier for town to win if both of them are elected and both of them are town so this make perfect sense to me, if Arctocod turns out not to be town then no real harm done. What I think is a bit weird is that nobody is endorsing ProfessorBadass since Curu is also pretty good at this game from what I've gathered. Wouldn't you agree with all this GreYMisT? | ||

Im leaning on electing prof. badass over rad atm, but ultimatly i am ok with either being elected into the pardoner position. the point i mentioned about radfield was just something that stood out to me initially, and sets me off on voting him for mayor. anyway, bedtime, final in a few hours. yay. | ||

I have 2 questions for the veterans who are running; which I'll like them to answer. 1. How effectively can you scumhunt with the mayor/pardoner position as compared to as a regular townie? 2. If you were scum, how damaging would it be for town if you got the mayor/pardoner position, in your own opinion? Lastly, comparing these two questions, do you think the benefits of you being in the mayor/pardoner position if you were town outweigh the cons if it turns out you get the position as mafia? Sorry if I'm being incoherent, really tired right now. | ||

Bodyguards only protect players who were elected on that specific day? If a player is later elected again, will he lose his current elected role? | ||

I am infinitely smart, suave, charismatic, modest, able, active, amazing, modest, and honest. And Erandorr's not bad either. Anyone who has played with me will know I give my all in regards to activity and scumhunting every game that I am in. I will never avoid the game or lose interest. My biggest pet peeve ever is Townies who expect to be mindlessly carried or don't keep an active interest in the game. Am I a better player than syllogism/Palmar/Radfield? Probably not. But I would not say I am bad either; in nearly all games where I was Town I have rooted out at least one scum and played a part in Town victories. I believe I am more than capable of contributing to Town and I know that I am Town; I do not know that about them. In regards to Arctocod and Radfield, I would very strongly prefer Arctocod simply based on meta. Palmar's scum play is relatively disinterested and obvious and syllogism's consists of never posting anything. Radfield is a different story though, he twirled the Town around his fingers in LOTR Mafia, securing multiple mislynches and leading the Town by the nose. He would have led Mafia into a crushing victory had a third party not taken him out of the game during the night. | ||

The pardoner role is potentially much more harmful in mafia hands as the only power mayor has is the anonymous extra vote. If we were mafia and elected to the position of the pardoner, it would eventually be quite clear that we aren't town aligned and thus us using the pardon would be almost inevitable. Pardoning a townie as mafia is just as harmful because then town has to decide whether the pardoned person is actually mafia or not. Now that I know that the role granted by the position isn't temporary, I think we will be running for pardoner. To answer the final question, yes, especially considering the probabilities involved. It's far more likely that we are town than mafia in any given game. | ||

Im still relative new to the TL mafia games but not to online mafia games in general. I post what i think and don't mind taking a leap of faith to get things done. Also, I mistrust anyone by default and have a healthy hatred towards mafiagame-veterans onelining the thread into poop. I will listen to good argumentation and will execute what the majority wants when they make sense and ignore when it's all clear jibberish. Voting for me gives you an active and open minded mayor, not tainted and bitter by previous TL games and above all, a scumhunter who will not stop once he has smelled a red. Cwave | ||

 I'll be voting for Arctocod or possibly Radfield for office. These guys are powerful, experienced town players who are likely to get shot early on, so giving them bodyguards is a great plus if they are in fact town. They will make the best possible pro-town decisions as mayor. If they do happen to be scum though, I actually think it'll be easier to spot them if they're in a position of power. Every action they make will be under constant scrutiny, and if they're using their power in a way that's hurting the town, we're gonna notice. | ||
