town really needed a 2nd guy (palmar +X) to just yell "STFU, ANNUL IS TOWN. VOTE HIM!" :p

apparently jailkeeper did, and that means we ARE to be told we got roleblocked. cool. at least our plan worked in the end.
what atrocious balance. TWO KP with 19 town to kill. we have absolutely no KP abilities besides my day vig. none. period. this means that we have to play FIVE DAYS of perfect play to get into position to win the game, assuming the two shot vig, medic, jailkeeper, and town jack don't have something to say about things... not to mention a double voter.
two KP. no offense. our entire strategy is pure defensive play until we MIGHT have a statistical chance to win.
also please learn to play before you accuse the mods of lying, accuse the mods of using an imbalanced setup, accuse the mods of favoring town over scum, etc.
Get your head out of your ass and play instead of being an idiot. We did not intend to inconvenience your team by replacing Erandorr. It is not anyone's fault that he got sick. You guys were winning and you chose that, of all things, to complain and rage about, when I even explicitly described the situation to your teammates.
Learn the difference between imbalance and stupid play, since it was entirely your fault that your team lost five members. It was YOUR fault for being caught day 2. You have no one to blame for yourself, as yours was some of the worst play I've ever seen on this forum.

I think the post-game atmosphere is pretty bad.
Some people are being excessively hard, a lot of people have a lot of stuff to learn from this game and that's probably what post-game should focus on. Not that people are retards

I am being excessively hard on annul because he is needlessly slandering Incognito by saying that the setup was imbalanced, after continually berating us via PMs throughout the game.
Indeed, he even chose to rage after dying as the game was going on.
Believe me, if this setup was really imbalanced I'd be the first to cry foul. I know how much it sucks to play in a game in which you play your hardest despite the realization that you have next to no chance of winning. This was definitely NOT the case for either side this game. Thus, I am personally offended that annul chose to attack Incognito and the setup he used, when in reality, every single one of the problems that scum had stemmed from either annul's own play or the completely braindead decision to reveal 5/6 of the scumteam when it was still mathematically possible for town to win.
|
he also just falsely claimed we lied to him, which basically just crossed the line for me.
I was ready to accept that he would want to rage just because he's an idiot. Now I'm pissed.

Sigh I knew the moment v7 proposed the no lynch plan it wouldn't end well
GG I fucked up this game sorry to everyone involved.

Maybe i'm a bit inactive, but v7 is to blaim.
And in no hell this game was town-favored. You give up 5 out of 6 scum for free and you can still win?

no single player is to blame for this loss.
Bar around 4-5 players, the entire town played very badly. If there's one bad town, you lynch them and move on. When there's 15 bad town, you lose.

Well, I was actually referring to syllogism's "You guys will never improve"-thing. It's like when Ace made that post saying "Everybody sucks" and then just left it there, I have played like 50 games and I still suck but I only really started improving after a lot of nice people started me giving some really good advice
I think people here need to listen to the people who are considered good players a lot more (one of the advice I myself was given at some point and that drastically improved my play). Learn to get a good read on them and learn how they play and then put them in the spot light, there they will either perform or they will out themselves. Learn to read the special cases that are the experienced players first and then listen to what they have to say 'cause they're often right, or they will sound stupid, then move on to start scum hunting for real yourself. Town hunting is a lot easier I'd say Also, if one good player says something and 10 not-so-good players say something else, it's usually the good player who is right.
Dunno, I really shouldn't be giving advice but that's my take on this game. I was actually not entirely convinced about annul either, but I was very sure that Palmar was town and I was very sure that syllogism had shot annul, so that was two good players saying that a guy was definitely scum, and that very often means that he's scum.
Also, yea Drazerk you need a break from mafia I think You had a god damn mental break down this game. Totally contrary to how you played in XLVII which I enjoyed a lot

I feel bad. Some of you guys take this way to seriously. It's a game. No more. No less. You have no control over what other people are reacting too. Chill.

Uhmn, I didn't really mean the "You need a break, Drazerk"-thing like that. I'd play with Drazerk if he joined my next game no problem it just seemed to me like he didn't really enjoy this game. He even claimed to be emo-trolling, which isn't really a sign that you're having fun I think.

Totally contrary to how you played in XLVII which I enjoyed a lot <3 prpl you are getting really good as of late. But I don't really agree with listening to "good players". I'm more in favor of becoming good yourself and that's totally doable. There is PLENTY of material here and some very good guides. I mean I consider myself a fairly decent (town) player and most of the way I think about things is derived from ver's guide. You just have to understand the true meaning of suspicious (scum) behavior. It's not when the dude is doing things most people will take a glance and say "Fuck that's suspicious as shit", it's when the dude is actively avoiding doing anything that can cause such suspicion. Most people can be caught this way if you try to put yourself in their position. Others can be caught by observing how they are twisting logic and evidence to support a certain side of an argument, so you can clearly see they have an agenda behind it. Playing more and more won't make you better, reading and thinking about it really hard will.

I knew I made a huge blunder in day one that I wouldn't be able to come back from and that scum would try to mislynch me, from that point on I was just trying to get scum to shoot me which they didn't just causing me more and more frustration the longer I stayed alive until it all blew up in my face.
Moral of the story: Never Vote Palmar

Moral of the story: Never Vote Palmar We spent two days trying to figure out wtf you were. In the end we decided you were probably dangerous to visit and just left you alone.

I don't understand, what blunder did you commit day 1 that forced you to make a ludicrous fake claim?
