Surprisingly enough, with GM's recent post has me thinking about taking my vote off. I really doubt that he's lying about the IRL issues. He PMed Jackal about plus he just /outed from a different game. And the fact about how he doesn't want to leave his replacement in a shitty position if/when he gets replaced I think is very true. | ||

I also know that GM doesn't like losing, and actually I wouldn't be surprised if it's some elaborate plan of his. It's a huge WIFOM conspiracy theory, and I personally hate conspiracy theories >_> | ||

Seriously though, can we PLEASE consider using my lurker checks tomorrow? Chances are the GF isn't a lurker (unless it's GM...imagine if he replaces out as GF lmao), and clearly if Kenpachi is scum they could seriously be trying to lurk their way to victory, knowing we've been hesitant so far to fire into lurkers so far. If I didn't agree with chaos13 about there probably not being any vigs in the setup, I'd say I'm reconsidering open-season on lurkers. At any rate, I can't think of a single reason why a vig would have killed Varpulis. Obviously (WIFOM notwithstanding) scum either killed Varp to push suspicion on me, or they don't want confirmed towies around. All I can say in my defense is that I was trying to protect him from scum by not revealing his role immediately. I apologize to town for outting him as innocent. I guess I should have checked someone else and told sandroba to stuff it...as I said, I'm new to the whole blue business. | ||

If visc is mafia: -He doesn't know Varp's role, and so mafia need to kill him to hide that fact If visc is a DT: -Mafia don't want a confirmed townie running around -Mafia want it to look like the first case I'm actually expecting stuff like this to continue happening with visc's checks. The best thing to do, will be to lie about who you're checking, and add some WIFOM for the mafia, for if they should kill who you say, and then unless you get a red check, don't bother revealing until the last six hours, unless people are pushing for an innocent lynch. My two cents about subsequent checks. | ||

Its cheating, and there is one thing I hate, its cheaters. (yes, more than I hate losing) I would never use another thread outside this game to try to affect the results here. (and I wouldn't risk missing a Caller game [WITH NUKES!!!] if I could possibly avoid it). Thats my last statement on this topic. Would a kind vigi just shoot me now? | ||

Now it was pretty obvious he had a blue role so we still don't know the incentive why he was shot. Nice bomb though varp;) | ||

Mad Hatter is a suicide class, just like Veteran, so they actually want to be hit by scum. And that happened. Way to go town! Since you are outed anyway and scum very likely don´t have a second roleblocker, check lurkers if you want. My objection against detectives checking lurkers earlier doesn´t apply now, since you are outed already. The only reason why I was against is because a detective will have a very hard time to defend lurkers while not outing himself as detective. You catch my drift. Now go wild and stuff. | ||

For the most part, it´s a neutral thing he stated. Of course he wants to achieve that his side has a playable position after he subbed out. What we can´t discern from that behaviour is which side he is on. If he is town, he wants his substitute to begin without any disadvantage. If he is scum, he also wants his substitute to begin without any disadvantage. Nothing to read into subbing out. Now I really, really would like to have someone with a gun shoot at GM, for the sake of his substitute. If he dies, he doesn´t need a substitute and the poor guy switching in for him is going to be pissed. IIf I recall correctly scum still do have a third hit at the ready? When does the 6 hour "no killing" period before the lynch begin? | ||

Great job Varpulis. About the GM thing. It's extremely unfortunate that he hasn't been shot. What he's posting right now seems genuine, but it also isn't help the town any way. There are still way too may loose ends, and as some of us have noted, part of his posting looks like his typical mafia death. I would be all for confirming him town because he is a great asset for us if he is on our side. I have great respect for GM as player. But there is simply no way we're letting him live through the game without confirming him. He has pulled way too many scummy things to do it. Yes, there are several things that point towards him being innocent, but so are there quite a few very incriminating things. It's by far the worse alternative, but he has to hang. I still strongly oppose using DT checks on the lurker list. Do you really think we have multiple mafia in there VisceraEyes? But yes, us not having a one-shot vigilante would make perfect sense, seeing the lack of shots into the lurker list. We're doing great, let's keep on track. Wiggles's points about the effect of Varp's death on VE's alignment are completely correct. This does not tell us anything about it. But at the moment I think VE is still a nice gamble for the town to trust. So we're not changing anything. | ||
