This does make some strange sense to me.
It could very much be a forgery but for some reason I do believe this to be the truth. Now only remains to figure out the reasoning for the second killing.

Ace uses the word "kidnap" aidnai, while you say you were hit. Were you informed of being hit? We'll need to look into "Kagemusha" but I don't think aidnai would risk lying that he was actually him.
Having a role that reverses the kill unto the attacker seems a bit unfair, but we don't know your penalty so whatever. Ace is already dead, so it's in our favor if he's red. Killing aidnai wouldn't prove his role, since we can already assume he is kagemusha. Looks like GF can die before grunts...
Anyway, regardless of exactly what happened between ace and aidnai, we can't resolve it with a lynch (ace is dead aidnai would just pop kagemusha). I think we should set it aside unless Ace and aidnai can provide anything else.
As for a lynch, I'm very suspicious of deconduo and this post right after the night.

It's been surprisingly quiet for this day cycle. That makes the voting a bit harder. Since the first set of modkills can potentially happen tonight, I'll try to vote for someone who has a counted vote for day 1. Hmm, the OMGUS votes from beefy and thefluffyone seems kinda weird to me (they responded in a similar manner, but could be part of their characters). Since fluffy already has a vote, I'll go for beefy.

kita says he has some kind of role that relates to aidnai. Since I could remove aidnai from the game it's in my best interest to find out what happens when he is gone. Next day I was planning to ask kitaman if anything about his role or actions changed (without revealing that I kidnapped aidnai).
It was also an advantage to the town that aidnai was somewhat active. I'd rather keep him out of harms way. Secondly aidnai is pretty terrible. So since I'm not a Vigilante and can't kill him myself best bet is to remove him from the game and let the Town actually win, then bring him back later when we have a clue to whats going on so he can't fuck things up.
From both angles; finding out more about this kitaman27-aidnai relationship, and removing a player that isn't really that good I'd be on a decent path for later scum hunting.
But all of this begs the question for kitaman27 - now that you know aidnai's alias is Kagemusha did that name appear in your PM?
Totalwar forum regulars does Kagemusha have any specific history with other players from that forum?

Lets see... Kagemusha is a really good mafia player, and was the only player who won Generalhandkerchiefs classical mafia until Crazed Rabbit won it it 2007.
Its said that as soon as Kage is lynched, it goes bad for the mafia. This is called the Kagemushas curse. I cannot remember him having anything with TinCow. Except TinCow is said to be a good prosecutor and one of the best townies, while Kage is said to be one of the best mafia.

Did you actually receive a notification that your power was activated or did you just assume so when Ace ended up dead?
