yeah, I understand that possibility. But for that to happen, scum have to control both day vig and copycat, which aren't particularly strong roles on their own. Also, one mafia will be sacrificed (the day vig) in this plan, which is a steep price to pay even for a good role.

Doubling the KP isn't something to scoff at.

Also, it isn't that hard for the mafia to pick up the day vig and copycat.

All they have to do is just send in the PM to ace saying that they want the roles. As long as they pick up the copycat and the day vig before the assigned townie does, they got it.

I'm just going to say one thing about your plan and then leave you be: I think you're giving up too much information. If you have an assigned role selection list, you just gave the mafia/SK a 0% risk of role clashing. While giving everyone a role is a good thought, I think it is too easy for the mafia to control what they get and then take out the most important roles. Also, it is easy for them to avoid the defensive roles. I think you're giving up too much for what you're getting.

As for the Day Vig plan, it is solid. The way you do it is the Day Vig waits until there is 1 vote before majority. Then they vig and then hammer. That way the town still has a crapshoot day 1 lynch + they lose the KP role to a hidden copycat. I'm kinda sad people brought it up because I was hoping to use it at some point.

They were only wrong about #10, and #11.

In fact basically the mafia had a perfect role list, just they don't really know what goes on at them end (where there was no important roles anyways)

Now what devastation did the mafia do with this near perfect role list?
Night 1: Hit the role cop.
Night 2: Hit the most vocal townie
Night 3: Hit a confirmed townie
Night 4: Hit a confirmed Doctor.

Remember, the mafia only has 1 KP a night, so even if they do know a perfect role list, it will take them a long time before they can actually do anything about it.
