Need to wait until there's a spot on the queue, so when Zona's game starts then you can repost and it will get added.
Forumite's game is looking to be full so I'm working out the next game to put up. Since the holiday times are busy there may be some shuffling around (Zona appears to be mia for instance). We may have flamewheel ninja in Mafia L if nobody else is around.

I had an idea for a future game, where having suspicion turned on you early stay with you for the rest of the game. It´s about a group of japanese warriors, protecting their lord, and even hintings of being a traitor could force one to commit sepuku in dishonor. Assassinating and spreading rumors is dishonorable, but so is spying on your fellow warriors, no matter the reason.
It would require a lot of balancing, but could be interesting.

tbh for me personally I don't like overly fancy setups that detract from the main aspects of mafia.
Themed setups that emphasize the essentials are really nice (ex. iGrok's Resurrection Mafia, with mechanics like no role/alignment reveal on flip) but themed setups that have too many power roles or have mechanics that are very uncommon make players confused and are generally very imbalanced. The problem is that no one really knows what the imbalances are until the game is played, and then that'd probably result in a lot of post-game whining.
I'd rather have a lot of semi-open or variable open or closed mini setups that keep the flavor of play interesting and allow players to improve, rather than introduce more heavily themed setups that are often questionably balanced at best.

I would like to join the themed mini queue. Kurumi will be my cohost for this coming game, and it will use deadlines more favorable for Europeans.
If the players in Purgatory Mafia play well, I'll host either Inferno, or The Victorian Mansion of Mayhem, or perhaps Groundhog Day, a brand new setup I'm still working on. If they don't, well...I'll host something less advanced.

Update to the queue system
What is being addressed in these changes?
It is not news to anyone here that we have too many hosts and not enough players to fill all these games. The following changes are being made to reduce the number of overall hosts and to up the requirements needed to host. We want all our hosts to be respected members of our community.
What are the new requirements to be able to host?
As before, a player must have at least cohosted one game, but preferably more. The best way to prove to me that you should be allowed to host is by being a good cohost. Furthermore, we are requiring that any new hosts play a minimum of 5 games on TL Mafia.
I have completed the above requirements, how do I host a game?
To summarize, we are implementing a simple screening process to become a host. Once the above criterion has been met, you must send me a PM summarizing why you should be allowed to host (along with your 5 games that you have played in). This is not a college essay and I'm not expecting anything detailed, just a paragraph or two explaining what you would bring to the table as a host. Thus I will be keeping a list of people (which will be updated in the OP of course) who are allowed to host games.
I have already been hosting games on TL Mafia, how does this affect me?
The easy answer is it doesn't. I will be assembling a preliminary list in the near future of everyone who is currently allowed to host. If you have hosted a game recently you will be on the list. Of course if you find yourself not on the list, feel free to PM me about it as I may forget people.

I think there needs to be a system to put people on probation when they do a poor job as a host. I'm also confused about what exactly people would be bringing to the table which would be particularly unique. I don't see how you're going to get anything but a pretty bland PM from everyone.
