I was waiting because Ver was being wishy washy about confirming his player list! =P Invite games used to have a separate section on the queue, but that just gave more hosts (which we don't need) an excuse to host their crazy themed game (more of what we don't need). So for that reason we got rid of that section. Invite only games have always been a part of mafia here, and as long as there are only a few every now and then I do not think there is a problem. Usually these setups are designed to only work out with good players, and likewise encourage and need strategic planning by every single player. It should be obvious from all of Ver's past games that good players are needed for the game to even function at all (and I know iGrok's next game will be the same way as well). If we were running invite games constantly (like if they had their own section in the queue) then I think there would be arguments for elitism, but as of right now they only come up every so often. They should serve as motivation for playing well and expanding your style. Ver has done well in setting up his games so that anyone has a chance to get in. He explicitly says in the OP that "If I didn't invite you but you feel you deserved it and would miss out on a slot feel free to pm me as i probably just forgot." VisceraEyes is a perfect example of this as he did well for himself in election mafia. I also know for a fact that there was at least one player who wasn't originally invited but PM'd Ver and made a case and now that person is playing. | ||

Since Wiggles's game is going up soon, if he gets a lot of signups really fast it might be fruitful to start another newbie game or the next person on the queue as well. | ||

is the next one to start and I saw your posts about getting the list done faster. Is there something like a date when this is going to start? Clearly there's enough people to get a nother mini full and I just don't want to miss the next one because I was not f5-ing all the time :d | ||
