We were fine for years without newbie games and new players were hardly a burden or incapable of learning, even if they played their first game in a theme game. That being said, GM's point about having a newbie player joining a theme game makes more sense than a theme game with only newbies. | ||

I didn't think Mayor Elections were legal in newbies, and there was another global mechanic that I wanted to try out. I would call it "Town-Hunting Mafia". Basically, instead of voting for lynch, you vote for the towniest person. They become Mayor, choose who is lynched. But here's the kicker. If you call someone scum/mafia, you lose your vote for the day. Originally it was "call someone scum and you die", but that seemed a little harsh for a newbie game. | ||
