This also suggests that character's loyalties may change over time. Characters who were significant in Chamber of Secrets were Gilderoy Lockhard, Moaning Myrtle, Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington, and Colin Creevey. One or more of these characters may have some sort of agenda for next day.
