OK, role pms are out, which means we're underway. I haven't played for a while, and haven't played with most of the players in this game, so I don't know the respective skill levels of many players here. However, seeing how this is a bootcamp game, here are general tips for new players.

Be active. By active I don't mean post every thought all the time. I mean follow whats going on in the thread and go back over previous posts. I highly suggest keeping a spreadsheet with all the players on it, and keep track of your thoughts on each player. Track possible connections between players, activity levels, etc. Keep track of what everyone claims and flips as you go. Being 'active' is mostly an out of thread thing.

When you post, post content. Make one long post instead of many short ones. Don't get sucked into arguments, they derail the thread and do little to help find mafia. Most arguments(especially day 1) are between two townies.

Focus on posts and not on PMs and plans. Balanced Mafia games are won through behavior analysis, nothing more.

Lastly, if you're a townie you have one very important job. Take a hit! Every townie that dies, is a blue role saved. If you can be a threat simply through good thoughtful posting, that leaves the blue roles enough time to co-ordinate.

Day 1

It was early in the night when Bloody_C0bbler awoke in his bed to find himself covered in a cold sweat. As his senses started coming back to him, he was overcome by an eerie feeling that someone was watching him. As Bloody_C0bbler surveyed the room looking for the intruder a man stepped out from the shadows and shouted "A new beginning awaits us with your end!" As Bloody_C0bbler went for his gun there was a bang and a flash. Bloody_C0bber the mayor had died.

As night began getting into the late hours RebirthOfLeGenD was walking down the street as a sense of uneasiness began to set in. As RebirthOfLeGenD looked up there was towering figure standing up in front of him. Before he could run the figure picked him up and slammed his head into a rock killing him instantly. RebirthOfLeGenD the Stalker was dead.

The night seemed to still be young for Ver and Ace who were hanging out at the local tavern. As time moved on and sensible decisions became a thing of the past and Ace asked Ver to step outside, Ver knew what to expect. As the door closed behind them Ace began muttering something incoherent and the ever vigilant Ver pulled out an Axe and threw it at Ace, just before the Axe connected Ace finished his incantation and Ver's body began to burn up, then exploded. As Ace opened his eyes to enjoy the fruits of his labor all he could see was the blade of an Axe as it pierced his skull.
Ace the Witch and Ver the Vigilante had found their final resting places.

While all this was going on Flamewheel the local prostitute was hunched over in his bed having the worst cramps of his/her life. Unable to get to the bathroom in time, Flamewheel died of TSS. Flamewheel the gender confused transvestite prostitute had died.

Foolishness was the last living mafia in the village of Salem and had decided to give up his evil ways and go into retirement. As he got up for his 5th trip the bathroom of the night he slipped, broke his hip and died several hours later in a puddle of his own filth. Foolishness The Mafia Elder had died.

Somewhere hiding behind his computer Incognito realized that RoL forgot to include him in the initial day post, as he began to yell and beat his computer monitor like a wife, he felt something pop in his head. Incognito the angry video game nerd died of an aneurysm.

As daylight shattered the darkness the chaotic events of the night before were on display for the entire town of Salem to see. The town realized they had to get the Witches before the Witches got them

Let the hunt begin....
