As I wait for a new Newbie mini to start up, I'm looking through old normal minis (as normal sized games are daunting due to size and themed games are confusing) but I'm unsure how I can learn from reading them. What games are good for observation, and how should I observe them? | ||

The basic idea is to start reading the game and try to figure out the alignment of the players and/or whether or not a player has a role from the thread. You can get advice on learning to read people or from the threads linked in dreamflower's OP from the game you just played, and as you do this a few times you start to see common themes and it gets easier. As you read through the game, you can check your reads based upon the flips. It is generally easier to do this in setups which did not allow PMs because then the game (especially later in the game) is played more in the thread as opposed to in PM land. | ||

Any interest in creating a TL Mafia team for that tournament? The timing is terrible for me so I wouldn't be able to be the manager, but I could easily play. | ||

Reason I can't do it myself is that I might not be available every saturday, and this is also close to the time when I'm getting my daughter to sleep. So while playing 1 game is easy for me, I can't be completely hands on with the entire thing. | ||
