A while ago there was a somewhat similar game called Assassin in the Palace where there was 1 King, 1 Assassin, and 7 townies. The difference being that the assassin only had 1 kill to eliminate his target and all the townies knew the king's identity. How does Kira manage to manipulate the town with the death flavor if everyone knows its coming from him?

Since nobody knows Kira nor L, and a L revealing himself is plain dumb, the idea would be to just blend in and use your ability of determining the death as tips to lure L. Killing people arguing anything was a good start. You'd have one or two deaths per day(lynch+Kira).

It became progressively more interesting as "Misa" was added and L received the ability to protect town. Having two Red players that didn't know eachother made the game more complicated, and they used their kills to actually communicate at some point.

I guess it was imbalanced towards town, but it was very fun nonetheless

Of my other games, I had my first game where I was really bad and the mafia tried to get me lynched, a game where I tricked the mafia out of hitting me, a game where the mafia gave before they had a chance to hit anyone, a game where I was mayor and mafia, and PYP1 where to this day I have no idea why the mafia didn't hit me sooner.

So this is probably stupid but I'm putting it out there anyways so you can ignore it if you wish.

But I was thinking about the filter function, and I don't really know how it works, but would it be possible to make it so that it automatically ignores all posts before the game started? So like when signups are happening and we are randomly shooting the shit about nothing in particular. Idk, just a thought.

I was asked about creating an observer quicktopic for Student Mafia and am wondering if there are enough observers to justify creating one.
