It's ok, anything beats actually cheering for the Eagles because they're terrible. The only way we win anything this season is just to give mccoy the ball, that kinda works. Everything else is hilariously bad. I had such high hopes for the season, but fuck this shit. | ||

At the beginning of the night, all statements are processed and for the night and the next day, players are informed of what they can do, or whatever their role says. All statements will not be public, and the truthfulness of the statement will not be revealed to the statement's owner. Next day players will be asked to give another statement, and then so on and so forth. Mafia numbers, KP and parties would be hidden to hinder all methods of breaking the game. I've got a list of roles I would like to try, and I think I'll let everyone get a role if I can issue a proper balance. | ||

For those living under a rock, Death Note is an anime/manga from ~2005. The concept of the anime is simple: Ultra intelligent boy is bored of life and thinks the world sucks. Then he receives a magical notebook that allows him to kill whoever he wants, provided he knows the person's name and face. Then, ultra intelligent detective codenamed "L" investigates the cases of the weird deaths around the world(especially Japan), and goes into looking for "Kira", the one who is killing people. It also helps that Kira is killing only murderers and corrupt people, but that's beyond the point. I played a DN themed Mafia a long time ago, and I didnt even realize it was Mafia(but the concepts are the same). These were the general rules: - Low amount of players(8~12) - One Red player(called Kira) - One Blue player(called L) - Everyone else is green(Innocent) Blue player is a cop, and that's it. Town(or people) win when Kira gets lynched. Kira wins when L dies.(Variation: Kira wins when there are 2 players or less in the game, L can't die). However, this game has an extra mechanic. Kira can send, with a day-cycle in advance, one person to death. He may also include the time of death and cause of death(defaulted to day-cycle + heart attack). For example, a Kira could go like this: GMarshal, 13:00 EST, hit by a car And the host would post, at 13 EST, that GMarshal was hit by a car and died. Of course the idea is that you send the action before the day-cycle ends; the host could even create limitations(ex. no deaths between 00:00 and 08:00 EST, so the host sleeps!) The fun part of this is how you can manipulate the deaths into your favor; you could even go as far as saying "Zephirdd suicides at 14:00 EST after writing a letter that reads 'You better lynch kitaman27 or GMarshal dies' ", who knows what kind of stuff a creative Kira could do. We even grew into more complicated stuff as to introducing a "Misa" role, where you get another Red player with the same powers, but reds don't know eachother; also, Red's can't die to a Red, and the Blue receives a doctor ability(protect someone). And later on we even included the roles of N and M, which are greens that become Blues in case the Blue dies. This was when we got more players to join(about 20). It was tons of fun, I wonder if it would be a viable type of game here at TL? What do you think? | ||
