I am fine with your take on the Redff/VisceraEyes. The BM you are referring to with YM/BC I think was minor and it stopped after a warning, but posting a host PM is explicitly not allowed. 1 game is reasonable. Jackal said barely anything, no ban. I am fine with giving Kurumi a warning, I honestly think he needs to take it more seriously because every game I play with him I honestly just get mad at his posting because of the painful lack of effort and spam he brings to a game. From what I remember, BC wasn't explicitly breaking rules at the time he started yelling about post restriction, etc. It was updated after the fact, so you could only argue he is breaking the spirit of the game at best. I think we should hear his take on it. | ||

The big difference is more in how we weight the comments. If they don't have context, then they will either make the effort to get it or it will be obvious that they don't have context and we can weigh that accordingly. But everyone should be able to contribute their opinions and persuade others that their idea for resolving the situation is the best one. This is the general weighting of comments: 1. hosts of the game in question 2. players directly affected by the actions of the people we are discussing punishing 3. experienced hosts 4. players in the current game 5. other people who were not involved in the game but understand what is going on 6. people who clearly don't have any context at all for their comments But obviously a particularly good argument can sway a lot of people and result in more influence for someone lower on this list. | ||

I guess this stems from me having a long history of playing team-sports. The way I see these games it's only natural we shout a bit at each other, we're all competitors, we all want to win. I am perfectly happy with someone calling me the dumbest piece of shit ever to walk this earth, as long as once the game is over we can shake hands and move on. Like, I will play "rough" in these games. It bears no meaning outside the game. I think it's perfectly natural that people get into shouting matches every once in a while, which happened in Personality Mafia. I'd actually think it was abnormal if sometimes the fact that we really want to win and we're emotional about it would never shine through. As long as everyone involved is cool with letting it go once the game is over, I don't see it as a problem. Now I know not everyone has such an easy time with disconnecting one game from another like I do, so perhaps I'm completely wrong. With all this said, I would like to think that BC is able to let this shit just go, and move on. And I think a 5 game ban is very excessive unless there is something more to it than the frustration seen in the thread and the fact that he got modkilled for rulebreaking. I'd say a 1 game ban for the rulebreaking is what he should get. It's enough time to cool off and get a clear head for the next game. YM broke the rules too, and I guess anyone who breaks the rules should hit a 1 game ban. Jackal's remark is just... well I don't mind it. And yeah, I don't think Kurumi should be warned. Bottom line: I think cheating, modkills, rulebreaking should always be punished. I think behavioral problems should only be punished if they're carried away from the game. So if BC/YM get into another shouting match, then I think they need to be sidelined until they cool off. But getting mad in a game, is in my opinion part of the game. | ||

This isn't just about that, but I had to diverge from my original goal to go off on a tangent in relation to that, having noticed the recent game due to who was modding  I am flattered you all thought of my personality, to be honest.I would like to humbly ask for re-instatement. Would anyone wish to play some mafia with me? I would enjoy hosting, playing, or helping balance and co-mod. I guess you could say that I have worked out all of my real life issues, and have time to lend my presence and general insight for the greater good. I won't blame you all for looking at my past history as a negative. I'd like to personally use this time to apologize to RoL, Meepah_Z, and DoctorH. Sorry for being a bastard player, and making you all look like bastard mods, pun definitely intended. I'm sorry. I've spoken about how I feel regarding Kurumi. Jackal was more abrasive than I was when I was banned, so this isn't his first incident regarding personal attacks resulting in modkill. I will refrain from stating any more on the matter. I will only give information, and no analysis, regarding him, as I feel biased and unjust. I'd not ban ~OpZ~ or DoctorH for asking for replacement or being modkilled if there are personal reasons. | ||
