Yes I do. I've had it in with one or two hosts in the past so I completely understand where you're coming from. It's his game and you are technically at his mercy so whatever you say is taken with a grain of salt.
100% understand. What I'm getting at is you can't use "well if this didn't happen, then I wouldn't have done this" as an excuse because the ultimate result ended up effecting other players. If it just stayed between you and BH I doubt you'd be receiving so much flak. I honestly don't care which of you is right or wrong as it seems both of you have admitted to making mistakes in this situation. We can move on from that, the only thing left to deal with is the game itself which BH is trying to compensate for with a ban.
Does that seem unreasonable?

Being banned for 2 games seems unreasonable when BH gets away scot-free for something which was equally shit.
He gets to 'move on' for free, I don't. That strikes me as really, really unreasonable.

BH isn't getting banned because he didn't ruin the game for the other players. I don't see why you can't understand this. Whatever happened between you two is a related, but not directly responsible for you posting after being modkilled.

Incorrect, he did ruin the game. He modkilled the most experience and leading member of the mafia team for no reason.
This had a direct impact on the game.

You seriously have a problem isolating your own actions in the thread against what happened between you and BH. Claiming the game was ruined because YOU got killed is just silly. Maybe Vivax should also claim the game was ruined because the mods randomly made him a VT, thus limiting and gimping the town because he always gets killed early.

how are the two scenarios remotely similar?
mafia were given a set amount of players, of which one is the natural leader and the most experience.
for completely arbitrary reasons, the host removes said player part way through day 1. Now for no reason other than the host, the mafia team is deprived of one of its players.
how is that remotely similar to rolling someone VT?

It doesn't matter if you think the host request is unreasonable, if it is completely trivial to fulfill. It's not up to you to decide. If you have a problem with certain hosts, don't join their games or get replaced out.

If I had been playing as town, I would definitely be angry. However, I don't think banning active players is a good idea right now.
