Are you saying that the mayor must make his decision based solely on your suspect list?

If this mafia mayor has been reading all the posts, I think that he or she might have already picked up on the fact? Just kind of thinking about it, yeah these posts can help the potential mafia mayor, but it can also help our townies that are behind / just clarifies things for them so our side of the game can be more cohesive as well.

well, if we were mafia, we wouldn't be talking about it.... we'd be doing it!

No, I'm saying I'll post a list of everyone who was suspected and why to help the mayor choose and to provide a basis for town discussion.

We've sort of agreed that the mayor will lynch the consensus pick or face massive suspicion. This limits their ability to play the lynching card, regardless of whether they are mafia or not. The immunity they gain, on the other hand, is important.
At any rate, I offered my opinions for this round, voted in the election, I guess time to lay back until more information is forthcoming.

is that a thin knife, or a pen to the left of your name DoctorH?

Don't forget to include me and my wonderful analysis of why I should be a suspect.

I'm with you citi.zen. Should probably go do some homework, but as a second trimester senior I'm feeling quite lethargic. Oh well scholarship time.
.../ Lurking time. Hehe.

I think the most important power of the mayor is their three votes. They can powerfully influence the lynch vote and this would be very helpful for the mafia. It's been said before, but the Mayor really needs to justify his voting choices and represent the wishes of the town.

But what if you got elected mayor? Think of the possibilites.
With regards to the "no lynch issue", since it's mostly agreed that our most stable suspicions are a bit of a mist in the wind at the moment, we should start lynching off the inactive/silent members first, as mafia members can easily sneak in their ranks to hide their identity for, basically, free. There shouldn't be a no-lynch day imo.

i will admit that i would lean more towards inactive players when the clues or consensus doesn't add up, but both are sort of pointing towards a few people.
|
That's a good point, but is there anything wrong with keeping track of all suspects? I'd rather lynch someone off the bat who might be mafia then some random inactive person.
|
Yeah, the mayor needs to keep himself clean the first week at least. The 3 vote power will be huge later as they can end up being the swing factor to keep a mafia from being lynched and have it be someone else. It feel weird to be handing all this sort of strategy out where the mafia can read it, but at the same time it is fun to think and discuss it being my first game.

The inactive people could end up being mod killed anyway.
|
PMs/Instant Messenger are going to be very important to the town. Obviously the mafia will be communicating this way.
The potential danger is getting in a pm ring/im conversation with a mafia member, which could be really bad.

Hai, how is the mafia town of Incognito doing?? It seems very lively compared to where I live at the moment.... T_T

We're doing good. All of us are ready to start lynching the crap out of eachother.
Yeah, I won't start doing any PM type action until I'm convinced someone isn't mafia. I've already been handing them enough information by talking about how I expect a mafia mayor to act lol.

Perhaps a poor wording on my part, substitute inactive for low activity.
