Big cheers among the legions of Roger Federer fans at Wimbledon as the Swiss world number one serves an ace to win the second set tie-break 7-5 and square the match at one set apiece.

Fed a bit slow into his semi final. 1-1 in sets into the 3rd and final set.

There is a thread for T&F btw, easier to follow if everyone posts in one place: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=354277

Ahahah, WRs a tumbling <3
Always nice to beat the Aussies :3...with a WR is like the icing on the cake

@Lmaster, yeah i seen the thread, but this thread has a few people in which are all watching different events and tell eachother different results so it is easier to stay in this one and keep track of everthing xD
Plus anyway T&F is more than just Heptahtalon xD

Total medal count is most important to me. I hate how common it is for people to marginalize silver and bronze.

Surely valuing them the same is just as criminal?

Question to the Brits out there, how is Team GB doing so far vs expectations?

Ed Clancy and Stephen Burke getting the credit they deserve on BBC, those two put huge stints in.

As for team GB, we are pretty happy so far but have lost quite a few gold chances too. Could be better but cant complain.

We are on course, our expectations are to better our Beijing tally of 47 medals and 19 golds. So if we get 48 medals and 19 golds we have met expectations.

A weighted system could amend that.

Obviously. But until a weighted system is instituted, I side with total medal count. (A weighted system based on population size would be best, in which case Cuba dominates everyone).

You should not brag about this since Philip Hindes admitted he kind of cheated (or was not fair play according to your standards) during the qualifiers to get a restart...
The same kind of behaviour got several badminton team banned. Maybe the difference is that they were not english.

Media expectation is very different to public and committee expectation in the UK. In the article itself it says:

"That figure almost doubles funding body UK Sport's London 2012 minimum target of 48 medals."

I wasn't bragging. I was stating fact.
