Don't see it happening I actually like what I saw from EDG. They have decent early game/mid game (most ppl was expecting EDG to get stomped in this part of the game) with really good vision control over dragon/baron. The biggest problem was not understanding zil/k6 combo and Clearlove playing super passive in early game/thinking that he can just ward around and farm. He got outscaled super hard in early game (zil passive/exp advantage) and couldn't really gank in mid game without having vision on Dandy. Also EDG made uncharacteristic bad plays at baron and U played his worst champion with having 0 impact in teamfights. I feel like EDG can learn a lot from this game: koreans will always trade top lane for first dragon and try to fight for second one/ how powerful zil/k6 combo is etc. Also we need to remember that NaMei still didn't feel the best after that whole food poisoning. So, I think there is change that they will take 1 game in bo5 from Samsung. For me Shield/Alliance is such a wild card. I have no idea how they will perform. We didn't see Alliance play in month and they never played pro game at 4.14. In other hand we have Shield, team that have 2 players that overperformed (Zefa/Watch) and steam roll regionals mostly with team comp build around assassin mid lane with good siege (Janna/Lucian). So far from this tournament we can see that no one, beside TSM is willing to pick Ahri/Zed if Zil is open, so Ggoong will need to adapt. So many question marks surround this two teams, still I think they will easily advance from group D.

Pawn should be playing Yasuo (9-1), Orianna (10-4) and Jayce (4-1) for the rest of the tournament. His Zilean and other champions aren't that impressive, and his best champion Nidalee was taken away from his style of play with constant long range spears.

Dandy and Mata's gap over Chinese's junglers (even though Fzzf was impressive and the silver lining of his team) is so large that White's solo lanes, especially Pawn, could play below par and still crush. White's usual cruise control cockiness with a huge lead came back with the Baron, but I don't think it bodes well for the chances of the world if that was truly EDG's best effort against White. It's really hilarious, how different are C9 and TSM managements considering that basically, Jack and Dan organised both organisations in way they function. But seriously, only question i have after that day. - Will Korean teams finally drop a game to foreigners because it hadn't happen since last Worlds. If no, then it will be even bigger level of dominance than it is in Starcraft :> They have rebroadcast currently and VODs are on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/user/LoLChampSeries/videos I would love to see TSM go out, because a lot of their fans just get on my nerves and the shit Regi and Loco are putting out just makes them not very likable. But I think Svenskeren helped their chances of advancing from being quite low to making it for sure. I can only hardly imagine a scenario where TSM doesn´t advance out of this group now and it would be mindless hate (the same we are seing from Regi and Loco towards SI and MonteChristo) to say, they are surely going out. To your point on koreans vs non-koreans: I think at the very least, Shield and perhaps even Blue will drop games in their group. In fact I think Alliance and C9 have both a pretty decent chance to upset Shield and both make it out of their group together. (Remider: I´m still concidering this to happen as an UPSET, not as the most likely event to happen!) There will games being dropped, for sure! I would go even farther on Pawn´s performance against EDG: His Zillean has been very bad so far (for his own standards). He sucked on Zillean vs Blue and he wasn´t impressive vs EDG either. But if you combine the Zillean pick, the Rumble pick for Looper and the fact, that they have every right to consider their group weak (despite EDG ofc), you can see them using this game as a very good testrun for some unproven picks. They are up against a very competetive opponent in a competetive enviroment, but with a safety net of a weak group. They picked a very difficult to execute comp with some picks, that they don´t run very often. To me this looked like a testrun. And they should have learned a lot out of it, despite making it somewhat work against one of the biggest favorites in the tournament besides them. Looks pretty good for the team to me.

I'm surprised that you had to watch today's game feel that way. I don't know where all these TSM false hope came from but it's been pretty clear that they never stood a chance. They got a lucky break with SK's jungler out but they would still have to pull off upsets against SHRC and TPA.

Would rather see TPA advance because I have never liked TSM, but I think comparing the way they played against Royal is really shitty. TSM lost early from good play by inSec and they looked terrible but TPA got up to a 10k gold lead due to a single really good fight and still couldn't close out the game due to terrible decision making. I think TSM is favored unless TPA gets ahead early like they did against Royal. Would much rather see TSM eliminated though.

Group C is definitely the most interesting group imo. It's battle for second place between Fnatic, OMG, and LMQ. I can't decide which of them is the best. They've all proven to be capable but aren't really consistent with their success.
