I wonder how Monte feels watching LCS and trying to coach CLG.

Monte and Doa have always been lackluster in the play by play department, often missing important moves/ult usage by players/teams in teamfights. Also yea Cheep basically nailed Monte's weakness as a caster which is that his idea of how league should be played is far too clean as compared to what actually happens.

I think it's helpful that OGN and LPL will always almost always replay a full teamfight, often in slow motion, so the casters can get a chance to really focus on individual positioning and summoner/spell usage. It lets the casters not get bogged down by the details as it plays out and focus more on the aftermath/role in overall strategy without having to also worry about catching how every ult and summoner is used.
Tinfoil: LCS consciously chooses not to do this often so the fact that most players suck at teamfighting doesn't get exposed as much as it currently does huehue.

I honestly thought if there was gonna be an upset in play-offs it was gonna be KT A over Blaze. Ambition had looked kind of shaky as of late, and KT A are like quite possibly the team with the most potential and upside in Korean LoL. The biggest problem for them was experience and it showed. Minus KaKAO none of the players have been on this stage and it showed in their play. Nerves definitely factored into their play.
On the topic of ssumday, he is a SoloQ MONSTER, and even Leopard has commented that in pratice games ssumday destroys him in lane. ssumday was highly regarded when he first debuted being dubbed a "super rookie," but then kind of quietly disappeared until now. ssumday along with many other inexperienced players (MaRin, Bang, etc.) aren't able to fully show their skills and potential in tournament matches. Hopefully he'll become like a Flame, where after gaining experience became arguably the best top solo in the world, and not like a Hermes, who was never able to properly show his skils and became known as a choker who couldn't make it.

Space has been touted as a soloq god for ages the guy's still mediocre at best

KT A will be good given some time. Their individual skill at every position is fairly good minus AD Carry, and what I like about them is that they're almost never gunshy. It just seemed as though they were a step slower than Blaze to every tower, which is why they found themselves down a lot of global gold in most of the games. Once they polish that up, I think they can be a force to be reckoned with. But if they want to truly ascend into the ranks of greatness, they'll need an AD carry who knows how to farm.

I like Ssumday, I don't like Rookie. Rookie feels like he's gonna go the way of Marin as someone who gets hyped, looks flashy when winning, but doesn't have what it takes to back it up.
Note: I haven't seen the games today yet but from what I've read it doesn't sound like Rookie impressed.

Note: I haven't seen the games today yet but from what I've read it doesn't sound like Rookie impressed. His individual play was superb, aside from his Ori ults in game 1. His 1v1 ability mid was very impressive, but he didn't have the same impact as Ambition when it comes to roaming and helping the team out. A lot of times he was late to rotate or didn't follow Ambition when he roamed to help bot, which led to his team dying when it could have easily gone the other way had he come to help his team.
Rookie looks good. He has the potential to become a great mid laner. I can't say the same about KT Arrows Arrow. That guy is garbage.

Yea I told you as much like last week when we were watching Masters lomo.
IDK, I think Rookie might have good individual plays, but those plays aren't overwhelming enough to make up for his deficiencies. Sure you can say that he can learn and improve on those areas, but I'm not just seeing it.

Watch is so moe though ;; + Show Spoiler +
Ggoong is good but so is Ryu. The Ryu blows train is so fucking stupid he's still the second best mid laner in Korea when Dade isn't going super saiyan mode, and when Dade is going super saiyan, Ryu is like the third best mid laner so whatever.
Ryu is at worst equal with Pawn, and Ambition is basically Ryu's bitch ~_~

Thoorin seems to see everyone in Faker's shadow, not only Ryu lol.
Ambition will have his chance to reclaim top dog spot this season tho. Rookie is already down, Ryu/Ggoong next and then either spring revenge against dade or Pawn.

Faker still a god so I don't see why not

Said something about how the biggest shame about SKT K's reign was that Ryu never got credit for being the second best Mid laner in Korea because he always lost to Faker.

The biggest shame of SKT K's reign was KTB being obscured entirely. Very few acknowledge them as one of the best teams in S3 because they drew AD/Tear meta dade in spring and sword got them sweet sweet NLB points so without worlds peeps forgot them.

Grass grows, birds fly, sun shine and KTB beats CJ blaze

Come on, GGoong is a top 3 midlander and will have claimed the top spot when the finals are over.
